Any chance you can post a screenshot?
If you don't believe me, that's ok. Check the forum, do a search for font issues, you will see font issues are non-existent. basically fonts aren't a function of the software.
Fonts are a direct result of drivers, if they don't work in Windows 7 you probably have some monitor setting or software installed that's interfering with VI Client.
