Our external storage went down, we have it back up. I can now see my ESXi systems and the VM's start just fine, however, they are not available per their browser interfaces. I can ping the VM's but no browser access. I created a new VM and it is the only one that is available via Web UI.
That said, I have an ESXi server (virt-02) that runs two VCenter VM's, the VCenter VM's start however, the VCenter VM says "The configured OS for this VM is incorrect.. " See the .png screenshot. I changed it in the "Edit Settings> VM Options" to what I believe it to be but it's still saying that. Also the I P address showing in General Information does not ping for the VCenter VM and in Networking I notice there is "no physical adapters" See the .jpg screenshot.
Any ideas on how to get my Web Presence back is appreciated. Realize, I did not build these and I am not VMW INSTALL savvy - I am a user/admin not a builder/architect. I inherited them from another person before me who left with no documentation of anything so its an uphill battle. Any logs or such that may help, just let me know what and where to get them.
Thanks, Chuck
