Se poi volessi avere un sistema che regge meglio al vMotion (USB passthrough funziona con vMotion, ma salta tutto quando si stacca il disco mentre la VM è su un altro host, o se si arresta la VM) molto meglio usare un concentratore usb-lan come questo:
