Need your xpertise... I am using following Dashboard "Horizon User Session Details".  An issue I am running into currently is when user is logged in to VM, I do not see that particular session in this dashboard. I probably gave about couple of hours before it finally showed up.    I am thinking probably I need to change the polling or refresh in one of the adapter instance. I am in Administration > Inventory Explorer There are so many adapter instance listed under here.  Am I going into right direction..? Thanks in advance.. WSS
I cannot find a way specifying the local machine to save the VM for my remote Linux machine. Is there a way? I don't have a ESXi server. Thanks.

Greetings! In the past, I was able to use a network config file to update a pool's settings, but I can't seem to be able to do this in the new version of power CLI. The "update-automaticlinkedclonepool" function is no longer valid. I see some documentation about editing a config script and adding a new pool, but what if I want to modify an existing pool, so that I can recompose it and it will show the altered network as its new default?

Need an assistance in below: ESXi 5.5 Express Patch 11 (Build 5230635) & VMAX storage. (No SRM configured) Unable to detect the LUN's while add storage as below: It take minimum 20 minutes to detect LUN's. However, if I disable the VMFS.UnresolvedVolumeLiveCheck on ESXi (Advance Setting > VMFS > VMFS.UnresolvedVolumeLiveCheck) able to see the luns quickly. But disabling is not suggested by VMware. Need a recommended workaround. Suggestion please.. Thank you.

Multiple Availability Zones - VMware Validated Design for Software-Defined Data Center 4.1 | 28 August 2017 |  Early Access As many of you may know, we opened this Early Access sub-community to provide you an opportunity to download and discuss pre-released design materials for the VMware Validated Designs. We want you discover the latest content for blueprints that are in development and learn about the direction of the next generation architectures and advance operational guidance. Today it's my pleasure to announce the early access materials for the Multiple Availability Zones in the VMware Validated Design for SDDC 4.1. The documentation contains a validated model of the Software-Defined Data Center and provides a detailed design of each management component of the stack. Within this documentation, you'll find an Architecture Overview section that discusses the principles of the multi-availability zone design along with a Detailed Design section that includes all design decisions along with their justification, and implications. Where applicable, we also include associated architecture diagrams like logical design of the availability zones for a protected region, as seen below. This design also uses two regions, and three availability zones - two availability zones reside in Region A and a single availability zone resides in Region B (LAX). The following diagram shows the how the current design could also be expanded to include multiple availability zones in the future. Got feedback? We want to hear from you. So dive into this latest early access content and share your feedback directly with our architects and product managers here in this early access community.

Darius knight occupies himself with a few tender exercise in a convertedbrewery in Brick Lane while all around him trainings are being made for aweekend tournament. The extent to which young Darius has been charitable in his short knock-upagainst the Evening Standard just becomes clear afterwards. It transpires thatduring the rallies that the ball drifts across the internet at a mere 15mph, compared to80mph during competition and 100mph at the maximum degree. => Best Professional Table Tennis Paddles Reviews Brands Aged 17, Knight, is one of brightest prospects in British ping pong thanksto his innate reaction instances, agility and knowledge of angles. A left-hander,he is ranked second among the country's seniors, won a gold at the YouthOlympics in Australia and is a real competitor to usurp the powerful Chinese atthe London Olympics. Ping pong is not only his passion and career; it also supplied an escapefrom the downward spiral to criminality which has claimed a lot of hiscontemporaries brought on the identical tough estate in Battersea. "Ping pong altered my entire life," he explained. "Once I was young I was always mis be having. However, I was able to find some attention through ping pong. I havematured and learned how to make the right decisions through sport. "from 20 of us growing up only two have achieved something positive. Some of myfriends have already been to prison. Most of them are smoking, selling  and are in gangs." Two others, I laterlearn, have been murdered on the streets in the past year. Knight's energies were channelled into ping pong six years back, when localcoach Gideon Ashison introduced a couple of estate children to the neighborhood youthclub. After fiscal problems closed the club, the coach persuaded a buddy toadapt his garden shed in an improvised training centre where Knight and Cowould play until the early hours. => Find best ping pong table: http://bestpingpongpaddles.com/tables-reviews/ Darius left school at 16 and insists he can take up analyzing any time in thefuture, whereas the chances in ping pong has to be taken early. Five days a week he trains in the game's national center in Sheffield, whileon non-competition weekends he flies to play in a club at Montpellier in Francebecause he can not raise his game against his lesser training spouses in theUnited Kingdom. Knight is among a group of teenagers - including British No1 Paul Drink hall -that it is hoped will spark a return to the sport's heyday in the Seventies, dominated by Desmond Douglas. The emergence of those young stars and stagingthe London Olympics has seen a resurgence in the sport that has led insponsorship from Fred Perry. European champions at Under-15 and Under-18 degree, although it's during their present period of growth once the drop-outs become frequent. "There are many examples of kids that are talented as junior players but it's abig step to the seniors," explained British performance manager Steen Hansen. "It is the psychological things in addition to the technical things." Hansen accused SportEngland of a "lack of vision" for suspending lottery funding in 2003 only as Knight and Co were demonstrating progress. Now they're back on track financially andresisting the temptation of looking East to improve results. Steen admits China is, in ping pong terms, "on a different planet". Its rejectsare being snapped up not just in Singapore and Hong Kong but also by all but ahandful of European countries. Steen points to the absurdity of six of the men's European Championshipsquarter-finalists being born in China. He explained: "That's what we're up against. It can not be interesting if it's Chinese against Chinese." Knight will notexpect to rank high enough to create next year's Olympics but he hopes to travelto Beijing together with Team GB to obtain expertise. He can not imagine being a spectatorin 2012. "I wish to win a gold," he said. "I've got something stable today and it is allthere for me personally. I have to follow my programme and believe in myself." A phrase from the very best: "We've got reasonably high expectations of winning that our firstOlympic medal at 2012 because of their talent coming through at junior level. There's never been an Olympic medal for the UK and we all expect this will be a newdawn for us. As host country we are guaranteed a presence at 2012 however for theremainder of places we'll probably have to qualify through Europeancompetition with competitions traditionally being Germany, France, Sweden and fromEastern Europe. => How To Choose The Best Ping Pong Table Clearly we would have enjoyed a purpose-built new venue for 2012 but also in realitythis couldn't sustain a club after the Games." Hi, we repeatedly get "The / filesystem is low on disk space or inodes" health messages on one of our vCenters 6.0.0.30200 Build Number 5326079. Following vCenter Appliance root Partition 100% full due to Audit.log files not being rotated (2149278) | VMware KB I removed the audit.log and other old log files but it helped only temporarily. Now I find /usr/lib/vmware-sca/wrapper/bin/wrapper.log file filled by "Unable to get the path for '/usr/lib/vmware-vapi/wrapper/bin/./wrapper'-No such file or directory" messages. But this file exists. vm-vcenter2:~ # ls -la /usr/lib/vmware-vdcs/wrapper/bin/./wrapper -r-xr----- 1 vdcs cis 460392 Feb 23  2017 /usr/lib/vmware-vdcs/wrapper/bin/./wrapper Is it permission problem or something else is wrong? UID of /usr/lib/vmware-sca/wrapper/bin/wrapper process is 0 and all /usr/lib/vmware-vdcs/wrapper/bin/ path has 755 root:root permissions. The same problem is on other vCenter except free space on disk yet. Thanks for any idea. vm-vcenter2:~ # ls -la /usr/lib/vmware-vdcs/wrapper/bin/./wrapper -r-xr----- 1 vdcs cis 460392 Feb 23  2017 /usr/lib/vmware-vdcs/wrapper/bin/./wrapper

I am using the trial evaluation licence to test vSphere, which I believe lets me access its full functionality.  I've installed ESXi 6.5 on a single hypervisor and vCenter Server 6.5 on a Windows VM running on that hypervisor. Everything appears to be working fine except for one problem.  I would like to set up multiple standard switches, and examine the configuration of the current single default network used by my VMs, but I can' t figure out how to do this with vSphere Web Client. For example, the section 'Create a vSphere Standard Switch' under 'Setting up Networking with vSphere Standard Switches' in the VMWare vSphere 6.5 documentation states the following procedure: "1.  In the vSphere Web Client, navigate to the host. 2.  On the Configure tab, expand Networking and select Virtual Switches. 3.  Click Add host networking." When I click on the host in vSphere Web Client - at the top of the hierarchy in the left column - and then click on the Configure tab I can't see any 'Networking' item mentioned .  Just 'Settings' and 'More', with some items in each, but nothing mentioning 'Networking'. I can click on the Network tab for the Datacenter and the default 'VM Network' is displayed, but the available 'Actions' are only 'Move to', 'Tags & Custom Attributes'  and 'Add permissions'.  Nothing about adding/managing port groups, VLAN tagging, adding new networks/switches, etc. Can anyone tell me how I can set up new Standard Switches, allocate port groups and use the other VMware networking functionality I've read about using vSphere Web Client 6.5? Thanks, Brad.

Hi, As stated in this Blog Post, "vCenter Server for Windows" will be discontinued, and replaced by "vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA)". https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2017/08/farewell-vcenter-server-windows.html We currently own the "VMWare vSphere Essentials Kit", and have initially installed "vCenter Server for Windows". We are wondering if and how our licence allow us to install "vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA)". Thank you very much for your help

I installed a new ESXi 6.5u1 on Friday 25.08 and until now the sdcbd service crashed three times. I am using a LSI 9271-8i Raid Controller and installed the "lsiprovider cim 500.04.V0.66-0002" to manage my storage and raid through a vm. When i suddenly cannot connect with the lsi management software anymore i have to restart the "sfcbd-watchdog" service and then sensors are ok and i can connect again. Any ideas?
