1, leave this controller lun to continue to use FIXED 2, when ESX scans out this lun, it reports not support to ALUA 3, this is management lun and 0MB in size, not for datastore binoche, VCP, CCNA

when you want to use RDM across hosts, please make sure lun number the same across hosts, for example you have assigned lun 3 from the storage to host A, make sure it is also lun 3 to host B let me know if it does not fix binoche, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA

yeah, RDM should solve this issue; please back up your lun first and then create RDM on your lun, for example vmkfstools -z /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.*** /vmfs/volumes//lun.vmdk and then add lun.vmdk to your VM, binoche, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA

Hi, for active/passive, please use MRU; as you know, when Fixed in use and the luns mapped to multi hosts, 1st host maybe selects fixed path to controller 0, and 2nd host maybe selects fixed path to controller 1, then the active path will change between dual controllers, path thrashing here; binoche, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA
