You mean vSphere Foundations rather than a VCP exam? Regardless, the answer to your first question is the same, no you don’t see the answers. The perfect score is 500, I used to work as a VMware instructor and I’ve never met anyone who got that score, I’m sure some have though. Good luck.

VMware certifications are no longer titled after product versions, so if you completed the requirements for your certification this year you already hold the latest certification VCP-NV 2020. Until the NSX-T 2.4 exam is retired, VCP-NV 2020 can be achieved by passing either the 2.4 exam or the 3.0 exam: VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2020 (VCP-NV 2020) There's nothing to stop you taking the 3.0 exam now, but passing it won't award you a new certification if you're already a VCP-NV 2020. There won't be a 2.4-3.0 upgrade exam, for the reasons above. You'll see on the VCAP pages that it's the VCP year which counts nowadays too - so if you're VCP-NV 2019 or VCP-NV 2020 you meet that requirement for VCAPs. 1. You're OK - VCP-DCV 2019 came after VCP6-DCV. 2. Selecting the "VCP6-DCV or newer" option you'll see that the training is "recommended" for you, so it's an entirely optional step - in other words how you choose to prepare for the NSX-T exam is up to you. This is where course and exam announcements are made: VMware Education Services No mention on there yet about exams based on NSX-T 3.0.
If you clicked the link I posted you can select the Cisco path. If your Cisco certification is NOT one of those shown, follow the default path.

1. The certification is VCP-DCV 2020 2. It is not the Foundations exam that has a training requirement (anyone can take it) 3. The VCP as a whole has the training requirement 4. As well as the Foundations exam (and the training) you also need to pass a Professional exam in order to meet the full requirements to achieve the VCP 5. The on demand class should take the same amount of time to complete as a regular live class, so approx 30 hours 6. From when you start, you have 30 days access to the class materials (videos, manuals, labs) Have a look at this page: VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 (VCP-DCV 2020) If you follow the links to the pages for each exam you will find an exam guide PDF which tells you the topics tested on and the associated documentation (which is also used to create and validate the exam items). VMware have an active promotion that gives access to their Learning Zone video library for free at the moment: https://blogs.vmware.com/education/files/2020/05/VLZ-Premium-Subscription-6-Month-Promotion-External-FAQ.pdf There are also numerous community resources for the exams, search online for “study guide” and you’ll find those.

Yes they are the same exam - it was originally created for VCP6-NV but is still valid today for the current VCP-NV 2020, and is on the NSX-V product. VCP-NV 2020 is the certification you will be awarded when you complete the various requirements, don't worry about VCP6-NV as new certification holders cannot be awarded it. There are currently 2 tracks for VCP-NV 2020 - for NSX-V and for NSX-T: VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2020 (VCP-NV 2020) Given the direction of the NSX product, I would expect future exams to be on NSX-T only - you can take the NSX-T path today, so the NSX-V exam retirement should be less of an issue. To answer your other questions: Exam Number - 2V0-642 - is this exam retiring on June 30, 2020? Yes if yes, then whether this date will be extended in view of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic ? For most countries, remote testing is now available - so I doubt it. Pearson onVue is not available in Japan, thats why i cannot take exam online from home ? Correct. Can i use some VPN to connect to other country and attempt the exam ? will it work ? will it be legal ? That would be a question for VMware or for Pearson VUE. I would strongly advise sending an email to certification@vmware.com

There is literally only one path to any VCP for a newbie (to VMware training/certification) which does not include a training requirement: VCP-NV 2020 for those holding certain Cisco certifications. Choose either the NSX-V or NSX-T track here and select the Cisco path: VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2020 (VCP-NV 2020) So unless that's you, then you will have to meet the training requirement - as did every VCP in the world today (other than the Cisco folks who did NV) Once you get your first VCP (on any of the 5 solution tracks which have a VCP), there are options to keep certified and gain additional certifications with no additional training requirement.

That exam is "non-proctored", which means you can be anywhere with an internet connection when you attempt it. You cannot take it at a testing centre. You get a 48-hour window in which to take it from when you book it, hence the dates of April 16th-18th being displayed to you. It shows in the "Online Exams" section of the Pearson VUE site, all those exams are non-proctored: And when you try and book it:

There's a difference between whether you can take the exam, and whether it has any meaning towards being a VCP or not. What I mean is, anyone can attempt the exam - even my mum. But it only has any meaning if you also complete the other requirements for VCP - which for a newbie DOES include training. So if my mum passed the exam, but that's all she did, she wouldn't be a VCP. You can check which requirements apply to you here: VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 (VCP-DCV 2020)

Did you look at the page I linked to? Note also that you'd be VCP-DCV 2020, there is no such thing as VCP6.7-DCV.
By all means state that you have passed certain exams, that's your choice - so long as you don't claim to be certified when you are not.

You are correct that at this time the 2020 training/exams are the same as for 2019, all based on vSphere 6.7. I would expect that to remain the same for as long as the software version doesn’t change. So for the time being, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for a VCP-DCV 2019 holder to do anything in relation to VCP-DV 2020.
