Send an email to certification@vmware.com. Include as much detail as possible along with the Pearson case #.
We do not release dates for any of the certification releases. I can say that it should be soon and when it is, we'll post info at www.vmware.com/certification so what that space.

Hrmmm.. For what position? Honestly, as someone who has worked for the company for 8 years and joined with only the ability to spell virtualization (I had no idea who this little startup company called "VMware" was), just being yourself and answering questions to best ability is the best way to go about this. More often than not the goal is to find someone who fits with a team and can work with a team without an ego. This company was founded on the desire and passion to help (at least in my experience). What I'd say is this: 1. Be yourself 2. Don't be afraid to say I don't know 3. Be honest (no, be truly honest) 4. Have a vague idea of what we do as a whole 5. Tell us what makes you great 6. Tell us what things you need to work on 7. Have passion 8. Have desire 9. Have fun 10. Ask us what it's like. Good luck!

I would throw some caution as this app appears to have nothing to do with VMware Education. It's not about our classes or class content.

Send me an email at lbourque@vmware.com. I run the US ICWs. We are looking at getting a portuguese ICW but nothing is firmed up yet. We don't host ICWs in Palo Alto in the US. They are either in Dallas, Denver or Boston. Our next one is at the end of July in Boston. So.. ping me and I'll see what I can do to help you.
Jefijeff, can you email me directly at lbourque@vmware.com with the details of this? Let's see if we can figure out what happened and get it resolved.

Ah.. combined Optimize & Scale with a Troubleshooting class. There may be one. Right now we're still finishing off the Troubleshooting class and once that's out, then we can look at doing that. If we do one, it'll likely be what we call a Bootcamp since the hours would mean having to do 12 hour days rather than the usual 10 hours we do for Fast Tracks. As of right now, nothing in the roadmap but things can change. I'll pass on the suggestion to those that matter.

You cannot. That is a hard requirement -- you MUST have the class to have the VCP certification. You can take the exam without the class but you do not get the certification without the class. It's to avoid exactly what you are doing. A dump site is just a memory exercise. By forcing the class, we know that you've had some hands-on, even if for a week. We want the VCP to have meaning and not be just an exercise in memorizing answers. That's not knowledge, that's just random facts.

Randy was having issues posting in the forum so he asked me to post on his behalf: "Thanks to each of you for your interest in the VMware Certification Program. It is easy to understand your frustration at not getting your score reports for the live lab in the time specified. We have been researching the problems today and are confident that you will have a .pdf of your score report via email today. The certification results will post to the MyLearn system within 10 days after you receive the .pdf. This is the normal system for you receiving your reports. There is a discrepancy in the documentation for how long you should allow to receive your score report and we will adjust the documentation to eliminate that confusion. A separate but live lab related question was asked that I would like to answer. The question was whether the VCAP4-DCA exam would be retired at the end of 2012. There is currently no plan to retire this exam. We do encourage you to be current on the latest vSphere release but realize there may be times when you have invested in training related to version 4 that then makes sense you take that version of the exam. This question also may be directed at the authorizations for the exam that expire December 31, 2012. These authorizations will be updated and valid through June 30, 2013. Please accept my apologies for any confusion and for the delays in your receiving your score reports. If you have any other questions I will be tracking this conversation. Randy Becraft, Senior Program Manager, VMware Certification Team"
