Good to know you solved the problem, this is exactly why i suggested you to deploy vm from vc directly and check. If direct deployment does not work with same custom spec, the problem is always with the template or custom spec. . view just automates what we do manually in vc. -noble

Hi fullwolf, If I understand you correctly. you don't want view connection server to automatically login to desktops. This is possible if you disable SSO functionality. Use view agent  adm template to disable sso. "AllowSingleSignon Determines whether single sign-on (SSO) is used to connect users to View desktops. When this setting is enabled, users are required to enter only their credentials when connecting with View Client. Hi Mobcdi, Option 1 (tunnel) description says "Network traffic is routed through  View Connection Server or a security server if one is configured." Sequence -1 is looks more correct but with slight modification. Form SS there should be a direct SSL connection to TS, because all local mode traffic is routed directly between SS and TS Back end firewall rules on Page 61 of www.vmware.com/pdf/view-46-architecture-planning.pdf says "If you configure View Connection Server to use SSL for local mode operations and desktop provisioning, security servers use port 443 for downloads and replication between local mode desktops and the Transfer Server." -noble

Hi, This is a requirement. Transfer server VM needs to access the disks of desktops under transfer. in other words th host running transfer server vm should be able to access the disks of desktop under checkout. -noble

Hi, You should add domains and user accounts to viewcomposer settings before creating automated pool. Hi, can you post the commands you used? I guess you were trying with -remove option. To exclude a domain from listing on client, you should add them to exclude list eg: vdmadmin -N -domains -exclude -add -domain <domain name as visible in view client drop down list> -s <broker name as visible in brokers in view admin> -noble

Yes, right click on a VM, select Migrate-> select change host->  Select a different host from the same cluster-> select a priority  and finish. Alternatively you can drag and drop a poweredOn vm to another esx host in the same cluster. -noble
