VMware ThinApp 4.6 Suite - contains the ThinApp Packager, 1 license of Workstation for Windows for creating clean packages, plus 50 client licenses. Additional client licenses can be purchased for $39 per license with no limit to increments. You have to buy ThinApp Suite to be able to virtualize (it contains ThinApp Packager). In this suite you have 50 client licenses - that means 50 people can use ThinApped appliaction concurently (more info http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1006248). If you want more than 50 users to use ThinApped applications, you need to purchase more client licences. Difference between Basic and Production Suite is only in support. Basic has 12x5 support and Production has 24x7 for severity issues. So here is little example: Company has 250 workers working in two shifts. 125 on one shift. You want to use ThinApp. You need to buy: ThinApp Suite (Basic/Production - selection depends on your needs for support). And you need to buy (125-50) 75 Client licenses.

I don't see the point of problems. Just try to ThinApp VMWare Converter with sandbox located in the same directory as executable (Portable Application) and try to run it. IMHO you can not convert PC without admin credentials anyway, even you use non-ThinApped VMWare Converter. Ondrej Zilinec - Cievo ...Good question is half of the answer...

If you use RequiredAppLink and linking would fail, you would get an error. In documentation it's also said that you cannot import shortcuts, you can only import the primary data container, maybe that's your case. Have a look at the documentation and if everything fails, try to LogMonitor your ThinApp. Ondrej Zilinec - Cievo ...Good question is half of the answer...
