Hi ipsgen, Would you please try with the following steps and see if it helps? 1) Quit VMWare Fusion 2) Add the following entries to "/Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion/config".  (If the file does not exist, create it with 'sudo vi /Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion/config') usb.generic.allowHID = "TRUE" vusbcamera.passthrough = "TRUE" 3) Open VMWare Fusion and launch your VM to give it a try. Hi , This game requires a DX12 compatible graphical card per the minimum requirements. However, Fusion 11.5.x supports the DirectX in Windows guest up to version 10.1, so it does not meet the minimum requirements of this game unfortunately. Regards, -Rick

Hi 9820Riverside, What device are you connecting to VM? Is it a USB 3.1 gen 2 hard drive? Also, you can try to add the following line to your vmx file and see if it helps. usb.generic.keepStreamsEnabled = "FALSE" Please back up your VM before you start to modify the vmx file. Regards, -Rick

Press 'Option' Key from keyboard and hold it 4. Choose 'Open Config File in Editor' 5. Add a new line with the string usb.generic.keepStreamsEnabled = "FALSE" 6. Hi hankers, Would yo please try to uninstall the VMware Tools and reinstall it in your Windows VM and see if it helps? If the issue persists, would you please attach the vmware.log to this thread? Hi ginne, Since you are running Fusion on Catalina host, my guess is it should related with Security & Privacy Settings. So, can you open System Preferences==>Security & Privacy==>Privacy==>Microphone and see if Fusion is listed. (Expected result is you can see Fusion exists in the list) Also, when first time you open Voice application in Windows 10 guest, you should be able to see the prompt window like this: You need to click OK button to allow Fusion to access the microphone device. Can yo try with the following steps and see if it help: 1) Close all running VMs and quit Fusion. 2) Open System Preferences==>Security & Privacy==>Privacy==>Accessibility, remove VMware Fusion and re-add it into the list. 3) Launch VMware Fusion, run Windows 10 VM. Hi addisonwk, SanDisk Extreme External SSD belongs to USB 3.1 gen 2 category, however, Fusion 11.1.1 supports USB devices up to 3.1 gen 1, that is why you saw the prompted dialog box. Hi vr8ce, Sometimes you may have to wait for a while in Windows "Printers & scanners" area until the printer status refresh itself. If it does not work, open VM Settings panel, turn "Share Mac printers" off, power off the VM, turn "Share Mac printers" on and then boot up the Windows once again. Regards, -Rick

Hi Pragmatist, Based on the outcome error message: 2.  Fusion: "The device <brand Flash Drive> was unable to connect to its ideal host controller."  <i saw this on earlier versions of Fusion> It seems you are using USB 2.0 controller in your Windows 7 VM while you attempting to connect a USB 3.0 device to the VM, so you got this error. So, I would suggest you try with the following steps: 1) Power off the Windows 7 VM, open Settings panel and click USB & Bluetooth. 2) Expand 'Advanced USB Options', change the USB Compatibility to USB 3.0 3) Power on your Windows 7 VM, install the USB 3.0 driver for Windows 7. 4) Plug your USB 3.0 device to your Mac host, then choose Connect to Windows when arbitrator dialog box prompts.
