Mikero, sorry, but I must be embarrassingly missing the obvious, but I don't see any kind of quote button. Sad to hear that multimonitor support is still missing. The only reason I need Windows is to run a program that requires 3 monitors. Will this support be added in the future?
Thanks for the details on graphics memory. I did forget to mention one more thing. "Enable Dark Mode Synchronization" is really cool! Thanks for that. (It's in the Advanced settings for Win11 VMs.)

You can have it installed side-by-side with the existing Fusion, but not have them running at the same time. I have my v13 renamed to "VMware Fusion 13.app" just so I can tell the difference. If you upgrade a VM to HWv21 (to get DnD and copy-paste, tools etc..), you won't be able to run that in older versions of Fusion, so backup accordingly!

Thanks for sharing It's recommended to set the Graphics Memory setting to the max, 8GB or so. If the VM doesn't have 16GB or more, it will use half of the available memory as 'shared graphics memory'. Having it lower doesn't really do anything useful from a performance or resource perspective. Heck, I even over-committed the heck out of a VM on my M1 MBAir... Machine has 16GB, I gave a VM 16GB (and 8GB of VRAM) and it all just worked. The screenshots in the flashy Mac images were taken from that setup, running the Firestrike benchmark in 4K. The Mac reported 24GB of RAM in use and compressed a bunch of it on the fly. Wild stuff! I never really saw any stuttering or sluggishness from the host... they really do some fancy memory management!

So far, I've upgraded a Windows 11, Fedora Rawhide, and Ubuntu 23.04 VM. My VMs start in Full Screen. When I started the Win11 VM, it appeared to do nothing. The dialog to upgrade encryption was in the space where my Virtual Machine Library is located rather than on top of the VM window. A minor nit, but a bit confusing. The Win11 VM screen kept going blank until I shutdown, bumped the graphics memory to 1GB, and rebooted. (I'm using a Studio Display, so 5120x2880 native resolution.) I'm not sure if that fixed it or my playing with "Use full resolution for Retina display" since I turned that off and back on as well. While the display is now rock solid, Win11's Settings panel claims that the scaling is 450% which it's clearly not. But, if I try to change it, it says it's already 200%. Very weird. Shared folders in Linux is amazing. A simple test showed it at about 10 times faster than a network copy. (My VMs are all using bridged networking.) Thanks for the update!
Can you upgrade from 13 or is an uninstall, fresh install required?

No Multi-Mon this release. Edit: My bad, Multi-Mon is in this release! I've had some buggy behavior with it personally, not sure if it's just me tho Quotes are done in a reply-message with the quotation button in the toolbar row (rather than a 'quote this post in a reply' button)   @Jerry_G wrote: Has multiple monitor support been added to this preview? Mod note: I deleted the posts in this thread that were about the downloads not working before we launched, and disagreeing about what day it is
Got the bits - installed and upgrading the VMs.   First impression is that the video quality is VASTLY improved.
The team put a lot of work into this release, and I'd love to let them know how the community feels about it!
