Hello all, I have a problem that I don't know how to solve it. I've installed Esx 3.0.1 five months ago. All worked fine. Then I've installed a network ethernet (412648-B21), it's dual gigabit interface and after starting, in console I had the error in title. I tried to install the patch of VMWare (ESX-1003505): no install errors. I was sure that this would have solved my trouble, instead it was an illusion :-((. Here there is a piece of lspci -v command: 06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82571EB Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 06) Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company: Unknown device 7044 Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 17 Memory at dfc20000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) Memory at dfc00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) I/O ports at 3000 Expansion ROM at Capabilities: Power Management version 2 Capabilities: Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit+ Queue=0/0 Enable- Capabilities: #10 06:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82571EB Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 06) Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company: Unknown device 7044 Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 17 Memory at dfc60000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) Memory at dfc40000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) I/O ports at 3020 Expansion ROM at Capabilities: Power Management version 2 Capabilities: Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit+ Queue=0/0 Enable- Capabilities: #10 In VI I see only one interface not two. Could you help me to understand, please? Thank you very much. Denis
