Na, no luck. The only way to stop the problem was to disable the integration with vIDM for vROps like you said in your original statement. I checked just again for patches for either vROps 8.0.1 or another patch for vRSLCM 8.0.1, but no new updates for either. In my case I am testing this out in a lab to identify how prime time the new vRSLCM is since the previous major version was not the best so still running into issues, but this is still better than before. With that I am able to continue on without it for now, but will be something I am going to hit a hard stop to put this into production.

Hi, As far as I know, I used external vidm components. I guess that my experience could help your comprehension. As you understood, user management is realized exclusively through vidm. You are able to use an existing vidm or deploy a new one. I used the first option : -> Deployed vidm first -> Prepare vidm : Database / Certificates (2 instance with load balancer if possible) -> With lifecycle I choose to use existing vidm and then define directory parameters -> that will be add to the existing vidm. My first experience to defined directory first on vidm and just specify the vidm I used but I encountered some error. But with VMware SDDC stack, I defintely prefered to define specific vidm and with pointing automaticaly or not vRA, vRLI, vROPs, vRNI on this dedicated authentication solution. Good Luck

I have downloaded the trial, however can't get in to the program. When I open the program, I get a screen with three choices to sign in. I pick the prompt, "Rigistered for a trial? Sign in to begin your trial." I click that sign-in catch and a window brought up marked "sign in" with only a white field with a littler black box inside. There is nothing for me to fill in or click, so I can't sign in.
