I ended up using the VAMI interface to run the update to 7.0.3.01400, and it succeeded. We still need to update to 8.x, and VAMI does not show those updates. But at least it got us past the failing 7... See more...
I ended up using the VAMI interface to run the update to 7.0.3.01400, and it succeeded. We still need to update to 8.x, and VAMI does not show those updates. But at least it got us past the failing 7.x requirements check.

Current vSphere Client version 7.0.3.01100 I want to upgrade to version 7.0.3.01300, build 21290409 2/22/2023 In Update Planner, when I start the Pre-Update Checks report, I get this error: Precheck could not run successfully on the source vCenter Server. Check the upgrade logs on the source vCenter Server. Contact support. To prepare for a support call, what information should I collect from an ssh session? Has anyone seen this error and gotten past it? I'm helping a colleague, and this is my first dip into troubleshooting vsphere. Thank you!
