I have a set of approx. 13 ESXi hosts that are lagging behind by about 8 days in log insight, since we had an issue in the datacenter. Almost every hour an inactive host alert is generated, but the last received timestamps increments each time, so the delay remains the same. So some data seems to be arriving, but about 8 days late. Plenty of hosts are working fine, and the cluster has plenty of compute and memory available. Diskspace is running low, but that was already the case before the issue popped up. I checked the settings on the ESXi hosts and the LI cluster (DNS, syslog, time...) and everything seems correct, or at least consistent with other hosts. Affected hosts are on several sites, where other hosts on the same sites/clusters are working fine. I've restarted syslog services and the LI cluster has been restarted since as well. Log Insight isn't my forte, so advice/suggestions are welcome.
