Hello Kinnison, Thank you for reply When I mention local datastore, I mean OS disk. vSAN ready nodes come with an M.2 SSD (ATA disks depending on configuration) in Raid-1 where we will install ESXi. In my situation, the OS drive is 256 GB, which does not appear for a few hosts after the update. vSAN storage is completely different. i will be opening a case Based on article https://masteringvmware.com/local-datastore-not-visible-in-esxi-7/#:~:text=So%20in%20case%20of%20ESXi,change%20in%20the%20ESXi%20architecture. if disk size more than 128 GB you should be able to see.

Thank you @maksym007 for the reply, Yes, ESXi is in a cluster with HA and DRS enabled. i will change vCenter and then ESXi. But will that cause any issue to the DR vcenter which is in linked mode?

But for below configuration configure vmkernel and physical adapter as MTU 9000 and vSwitch as MTU 1500. Does vSwitch does de-fragmentation or simply it will fail to send frames. When i was migrating standard switch to Distributed switch. Accidently DS switch MTU was set to 1500 and When i migrated vSAN VM kernel i lost connection and VMs were shut down. i was trying to figure out is it because of MTU 1500? logs 2022-09-12T12:05:12.655Z cpu2:3987430)Uplink: 5942: vmnic4: TSO packet has large MSS (8948) plus L7 offset (66), which can't be fit into MTU (1500) 2022-09-12T12:05:12.655Z cpu0:3987430)Uplink: 5942: vmnic4: TSO packet has large MSS (8948) plus L7 offset (66), which can't be fit into MTU (1500) 2022-09-12T12:05:12.655Z cpu0:3987430)Uplink: 5976: vmnic4: Non TSO L2 payload size exceeds uplink MTU.
