We have vsphere 5.5 and we are having windows 2008 and 2012 file and SQL clusters using attached RDM disks.. We are in the process of migrating data from one storage to another storage. In the backend we migrated all rdms disks to the new storage without outage and We are planning to migrate the operating system vmfs volume from old storage to new storage using storage vmotion. Can you tell which one is best way to do this without the downtime?
