This was exactly our problem after refresh the certificate of the VMCA! After unmasking the service the service "Active: inactive (dead)". Restarting the service "systemctl restart applmgmt.service" the service is UP and RUNNING. "systemctl status applmgmt.service" -> "Active: active (running)" Retry login -> WORKS Thanks   Ralf

Delete the following jobs from SQL Manager ( these can be found under ) Management./SQL Server Agent/Jobs Past Day Stats Rollup Past Week Stats Rollup Past Month Stats Rollup 4. I've got exactly the same problem as you described (compared your VCDatabaseUpgrade.log). I've down it with and without preserve of events and tasks and performance data, same result. Please let me know when you have any new information and so do I. Seems to me that we are testing a buggy software.
