Customer has three older Dell hosts, two with E5-2650 0 processors, one with a E5-2640.  EVC, with any bridge, will not allow them to create a cluster.  On Sandy Bridge, host 1 and 2 show compatible but the E5-2640 does not show any compatible bridge. Could it be the two main hosts are running 6.5 while the "newer" one runs 6.7?

Testing distributed vswitches on homelab systems (three servers, each has 4 NIC's.)  I have the switch and its port group working using two NIC's for VM traffic.  I created a new port group on VLAN 30 and assigned it NIC4.  Each host gets a DHCP address from the switch (on 10.0.5.x) different from my 192.168.5.x internal. When I vMotion a VM, NIC1 (port0) on the two servers, which already have traffic, spring in and begin to move the powered of VM, ignoring the vMotion NIC.  Each host shows vmk0 on the regular vSwitch and vmk1 on the vMotion port group on the vMotion stack. From each host I can vmkping -I vmk1 -S vmotion 10.0.5.102 and each host replies/works. What am I doing wrong so that vSphere is ignoring the vMotion stack and is using the regular stack to motion the VM's?  My license allows vMotion.

I just upgrade an ESXi install on 5.5 to 6.0 on an HP DL380 GEN9 and after rebooting the vSphere client shows there are no persistent datastores available.  The storage manager doesn't even show the HP RAID system available only showing the boot USB drive.  The dry run showed nothing storage related being replaced but now the entire system is dead.  I can't even re-create the datastore and reload data as there simply is no datastore. Is this a rollback situation?
