Hello, Yes VSAN have similar specifications but sometimes better and sometimes not. For exemple with vSAN you have: - encryption - deduplication when full flash only - 64 nodes maximum but if you want you can add another cluster - ressource pool ok - iscsi access ok - snapshots yes better version than vsphere snapshots - active active yes with streched cluster - synchronous replication by default with ftt=1 up to 3 - thin provisionning by default but you can thick as you want 25% up to 100% - you can manage your VM storage vm by vm with SPBM directly on vcenter it's better than by lun.
