We not only don't have admin access, we don't have any access into the VMs. So as vSphere admins only, we're trying to gather this information without any credentials to access into the Guest itself. I'm just hoping that there might be a way to see what client-side (guest) VMtools settings were configured. Thank you.

Due to an issue with our backup process, we have issues with Windows VMs using dynamic disks. This is a known issue. So we are recommending to our VM admins to utilize the method to set vss.disableAppQuiescing in the Tools.conf file. At this point, we're just trying to see if we can generate a report of our exposure. So I'm trying to figure out if there is a PowerCLI script I can run to get a list of VMs that have Dynamic Disks enabled in Windows as well as whether they have that vss.disableAppQuiescing setting. Is this possible without having admin access to the Guest OS? Thank you.
