I am absolutely fed up with this web client crap as well.... 6.7 is out and the best they can say is: "the html5 client is better than before, but you still need to use the flex client". VMWare, blow me. This is neither efficient nor acceptable for what we pay you.

Just had this exact same issue and thought it was SSL related, but it turns out my vCenter was update 1 and the hosts are now update 3... The other two posters are correct: Upgrading the vCenter ... See more...
Just had this exact same issue and thought it was SSL related, but it turns out my vCenter was update 1 and the hosts are now update 3... The other two posters are correct: Upgrading the vCenter server to update 3 fixes this issue.

Anyone figure this out yet? Same issue here using Commvault Simpana 10 to back up various Windows 2008 R2 hosted on FC 8Gbps datastores on an EMC VNX5700. We don't generally have guest IO issues during backups, but I am seeing this occur more frequently on vSphere 5.5 than I did in 5.0.
