Hi all! Ok, we have two HP EVA4400, one at each site replicating with continous access. We also have ESX 3.5 on both sites so Site Recovery Manager was the obvious choice. I read in HP Storage Replication Adapter (SRA) readme that only certain firmware and Command View Eva. We are running a higher version on our EVA4400 than supported and probably have a mandatory firmware upgrade coming up. Would be hard to believe that all SRM customers are not upgrading EVA firmware because of SRA support. Especially on 4400 that has huge firmware issues (check fixes in latest firmware update readme) Any word on this? Is it safe to upgrade firmware and command view eva? I rather run SRM with a unsupported (but working) configuration than my SAN on un-stable firmware... Please advice. Thanks! /Björn Devices supported • HP StorageWorks 8100 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110) • HP StorageWorks 8000 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110) • HP StorageWorks 6100 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110) • HP StorageWorks 6000 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110) • HP StorageWorks 4400 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110, v.9.0xx) • HP StorageWorks 4100 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110) • HP StorageWorks 4000 EVA Storage System (Firmware XCS v.6.2xx, 6.110)
