Sorry if this has already been asked... Currently on VRA7 we have an issue, sometimes our scaleout efforts fails... It may build 4/5 machines and then we have to cancel. The issue is the VRA appliances believes the node count for the deployment is larger than it is, does anyone know where I can see the node count in the database or something?  Cheers

Hi, I'm trying to track down where VRLCM gets its domain from. So we have an internal and external domain. I set up my LCM on the internal, the IDM appliances have an internal domain name, but the VIP is external. Though my LCM is internal, when it asked me for domain I put in the external, same when i set up my IDM appliances. But when i set up tenancy it only lets me pick a shortname and then autofills the domain, which is my internal. Is it possible to have a VRA setup over two domains? All of the VRA help documents are all examples on the same one... vmware.lab etc. etc.. thanks in advance

Nevermind, solved the issue. Had multiple reverse lookup records for the appliance, as i was using it for a single box setup with multi-tenancy. For some reason its fine for a single deployment as far as LCM is concerned but in a cluster it will just honour the first reverse lookup it finds. Thanks

Hi! I am trying to install clustered IDM appliances, however the pre-checks keep failing. It keeps telling me one of the 3 appliances (always the same one) can't be resolved back to its IP address. The IP is fine, no conflicts and if I re-run the precheck validations a few more times it does come back green, but then fails later on. I've even tried adding a static host entry on the backend of the LCM itself and it still does it. I've tried nslookup on both my DNS servers im using and they never fail to resolve the IP. Anyone had the same issue? Regards
nvm, someone here gave them to me, thanks anyway please close

Hi, I'm trying to set up vRealize at work, but the network guys want definitive port mappings from me before I can continue. my setup is: 1 LCM, 3 IDMs and 3 VRA appliances, talking to vsphere. I'd really like to know the port mappings i'll need for all of this to talk to one another. The reason I'm asking here is that I've used the Vmware matrix for ports, checked the VRA 8.4 docs et all, but it seems like not all of the ports are properly listed. For example 8443 isnt mentioned at all, but i've had installs fail because my LCM couldnt talk to VIDM on that port.  Is there a really good location to find all the ports i need? Regards
