does vrealize have this yet? Turbonomics does.... i can manually increase or decrease from within vRealize, but i don't know if this feature is there....is it?

it sounds like it isn't finding a bootable device. When first powering it on, try hitting ESC w/in the console. This should give you a boot menu. See if you can choose the hard drive.
