Had a bad power supply, the server powered down unexpectedly, and now the Datastore is very corrupted ( seriously? VMFS is that bad? VM's were not even powered on. )   VOMA was able to identify many errors, but stopped checking due to this: Phase 4: Checking pathname and connectivity. ON-DISK ERROR: Invalid alloc map entry Index 1 type 1,free 0, notWritten 0          ERROR: Offset(77824) for IO on file is greater than or equal to the fileLength(77824)    VOMA failed to check device : Limit exceeded When I use the command "voma -m vmfs -f fix -d ", I get: Checking if device is actively used by other hosts Running VMFS Checker version 2.1 in fix mode Initializing LVM metadata, Basic Checks will be done          ERROR: Fix Mode is not yet supported for VMFS-6    VOMA failed to check device : Not Supported Any help to resolve this is much appreciated it.  Thanks. Backgroud Info: ESXi 6.5a VMFS6 ( default ) Datastore on a NVMe PM951 SSD
Does your Asus H81I-Plus support Passthrough / VT-D ?   given a supported Xeon CPU? i was considering your motherboard, but now I definitely consider to buy one.
would you try to passthrough the Intel HD4600 iGPU to a windows VM see if it's detected? i really want to use it for a HTPC set up.
I can't speak for ESXi5.5, but in ESXi5.0U3,  My R9 290 aren't recognized, and when they are passthrough to the Windows 7 ( 64bit, EFI boot ), the R9 290 couldn't be used.

Two AMD R9 290.  host is ESXi5.0 U3
Has anyone try dual GPU yet? I have a Z77 chipset motherboard, and can't seem to get the 2nd GPU ( on separate PCIe card ) recognize by the VM, though it can be passthrough to the same VM.

YOu know what, I have ESXi5.0 U3 installed, and I can passthrough a HD7850 and use it to play game flawlessly. But I can not do the same with my R9 290. No matter what I do,  The VM seems not able to use the R9 290. I have the latest beta driver installed, and the R9 is recognize, but with a exclamation mark. I have not try with ESxi5.5 yet because in 5.5, the onboard Intel Storage SATA is broken ( can not passthrough ).
Good news!  The 5.0U3 ISO is working flawlessly. I can passthrough the USB controller and restart the host without loosing the config; I can passthrough my Radeon HD7850 to a Windows 7 VM.

Any one has issue with the Video output not being full screen / doesn't reach edge to edge? I have ESXi 5.1 installed, passthrough AMD HD7850. Video output to the screen, via HDMI, 1080p, but the video is shrinked to the center, doens't reach to side and top/bottom edges.

"pciPassthru0.msiEnabled=False"  is a must for my case.  I also need to disable Multiple Monitor on iGPU. I have a ASRock Z77 motherboard and I can only select "PCIE" as the dedicated video instead of selecting "ONboard". Now, i have another issue, that the outputted Video from my HD7850  doesn't reach full screen. Even at 1080p, the viewable area is shrinked dramatically.  Anyone see this problem?
If I plan to use 8GB of RAM and a ATI Radeon 7850 2GB , do i still set the pciHole.start=1200 and pciHold.end=2200 ?

I have similar issue here, 7850 passthrough and no signal on screen. I can view the VConsole though. Here is my problem, if I switch the VM to EFI mode, it can not boot because It can't find a bootable device ( can't see the virtual disk nor the ISO image on a DVD device ).  When I see some of you can change the EFI settings, how do you change the EFI setting of a VM / guest? If I need to disable iGPU, does that mean i have to do it from the host BIOS?
