this is my error, but why can I vmotion migrate when the vm`s are powered off, and not when they are running. networks have been checked and seem to be in order The vMotion failed because the destination host did not receive data from the source host on the vMotion network. Please check your vMotion network settings and physical network configuration and ensure they are correct. thanks for all the reply`s br jeff

Dear all, we have 2 serperate vm enviroments, and we try to migrate hosts with vm`s from the old 6.0 enviroment to the new 6.7 enviroment. this works , i remove a host ( with running vm`s ) from the old 6.0 and add it to the 6.7 enviroment. when i try to migrate ( vmotion ) in the new enviroment from one host to the other host, vmotion fails at 21% the only way it works is to shut down the vm and then migrate, this works. only we would like to keep the vm`s running, is there a option to keep the vm`s running and migrate ( vmotion ) the old host is 6.0 and the new is 6.7 ESXI thanks for all your reply best regards jeff

Dear all We are having a problem for several months now, vm`s are freezing and cannot be connected by RDP. The vm console does not react on crtl alt del The only thing that sometimes works is the ping to the vm. we have 2 clusters one 5.1 and one 5.5, we are migrating in fases. and random in both clusters vm`s are freezing, average of 2 a week reset the vm is a temp solution for this problem. Aditional info: we use veeam 8 for our vm backup is there a solution for this problem, thanks for all the reply
