Hi, don't you have shared storage only for the vCenter VM? Without shared Storage you can move between datastores since vSphere 5.1, but you don´t have sVMotion with essential plus license, i think's that you miss this feature. Another great feature missed, is HA. This is applicable to any VM in non-shared storage. Regards

Hi, if you want, you can use the same vSwitch for VMotion and MGMT, and then configure LACP or Etherchannel in order to obtain 2Gbps for VM Traffic. About the vlan questions, you can use multiple vlans (trunk) in the same uplink, this is good for consolidation Regards
Hello, i think that your question is independetly of the hardware.. are you looking that in host DCUI ? Regards
That's right, only works converter or storage vmotion. On the other hand, fromt thin to thick is more easy, you only need to power off the vm and inflate the vmdk needed. Regards

Hello,   do you have snapshots in this vm? If the vm is clean of snapshots try replacing de nic , also you may check forcing an active-pasive teaming (assuming that you have a teming active-active) in order of to be sure about the uplink used for all VMs is the same for this vCenter. On the other hand, if is possible you can try to clone this vCenter server for merge disks, if the clone is not possible you can use Converter for this task. Hope it helps you Regards
