Hello, I have got ESX7 installed on Cisco UCS from Cisco custom ISO. Since there is no ESX8 custom ISO available yet, I was wondering if I perform upgrade using regular ESX8 ISO, will there be any issues with Cisco VIC adapters? Will ESX8 keep Cisco VIC drivers from ESX7 installation? Cheers, Krzysztof

Have you faced this issue again? I mean was the restart a permanent solution or you have to restart your host from time to time? We have the same issue, and I wonder if we should restart the host and get rid of this problem once forever or open the case to find a permanent solution?

Hello, I have a weird case with EMC VNX5300 (block) and ESX 5.1/5.5. We have configured several LUNs on VNX (different sizes: 500GB, 1.5T, etc). When I discover LUNs in vCenter they appear with totally wrong sizes. For example LUN 1.5T is shown as 1T. I could understand smaller size, but another LUN 1.5T shows 2T. I checked LUNs on VNX, they seem to be OK, no alerts are displayed. All VMware components, ie. ESX 5.1, ESX 5.5 and vCenter show wrong sizes. I have installed several such environments and this is the first time I see something like this. Can anyone help in diagnosing this issue, as I run out of ideas. There are production VMs there, so I cannot delete and re-create LUNs for now. Best regards, Krzysztof

I have searched the VMware site, but somehow couldn't find that page Many thanks. As a Cisco partner, we will be installing it for our customer. So far, we were registering Cisco contracts under our account. Is that the same with VMware? If we register vSphere, vCenter licenses, should they be registered with our account or end user's account? When the 3y support starts? On the registration day? Best regards, Krzysztof

Hello, We have purchased vCenter Server 4 bundle license from Cisco, along with UCS  servers. It was just before v5 was announced. Now, when the equipment arrived, v4 is not available anymore. Were can I download the latest v4? Cheers, Krzysztof
