The downgrade process will involve downloading the version of Tools you want, then mounting the CD on the VM, and installing Tools. The only difference is that the launch process isn’t the usual VM > Guest > Install/Upgrade VMware Tools, but rather just mounting and running the Tools installer from the .ISO image like any other piece of software. Not sure what you are asking, are you asking whether you can use the VMs as web servers? If so, if you install a web server on the VM, it will function as a web server. Regards Girish

Click on the "Configuration" tab and select "System Resource Allocation" 3. Under "System Resource Pools", select "host", then "vim", then "Edit Settings" 4. When the "Edit vim Resource Allocaation" window opens, set the "Memory Resources" Limit to "Unlimited" Or Restart VC and then try adding the host again. Regards Girish

VCD doesnt need to know about everything that is present in the VC inventory. For eg, i could have the VCs being used in my VCD setup parallely running my private VMs on the VC without VCD being aware of it. Only the VM's created via VCD will be tracked by VCD. Regards Girish
