When running one of my workflows in the webclient the workflow does what it should but the webclient throws "Error 1034" (on vCenter and Orchestrator 5.5). I've searched the Internet and even if some VMware related sites suggest that the problem might be disk space, or the lack of it. (That is not the case here as we have several hundred GB of free space.) Other sites says it is related to Flex, but I haven't found any solution to this problem. Anyone else who have experienced this?
Have you tried the Network section in the admin-gui found at <ip-address>:5480 ?

In the KB "Installing vCenter Server best practices" they mention that SSO and Inventory Services may be installed on the same server as the vCenter itself or on separate servers, but the only guidelines to when separate servers would be required is this: "For small vSphere deployments,  vCenter Server 5.1 provides a vCenter Server Simple Install option that  installs vCenter Single Sign On, Inventory Service, and vCenter Server  on the same host or virtual machine. Alternatively, to customize  the location and setup of each component, you can install the components  separately by selecting the individual installation options, in this  order: vCenter Single Sign On, Inventory Service, and vCenter Server.  Each component can be installed in a different host or virtual machine." So when do we cross the line going from a small deployment to not-so-small?
I was just able to download it, thanks a lot for the help!

According to the release notes found at https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/get-download?downloadGroup=UMSV3 we should be able to update Usage meter 2.3.2 to 3.0 using a file called usage-meter-300-update.zip but there is no download URL provided, only the full OVA-file. Will the file appear on the site any time soon?

We discarded the idea of using the web client 5.0 so I never had a chance to try the KB's, but now when we are testing 5.1 and the vCenter vApp to host the web client we see the exact same error message as KB 2019346 describes. But the same account is used for all 4 services listed in the KB, and I have verified that the Windows firewall is off and the ports are open.
That did the trick, thank you very much!

I have a script that i would like cron to execute every day and it works fine if I logon to the vMA and execute it from the command line, but cron just throws back "Server version unavailable at ... /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/VMware/VICommon.pm line 545". And the thing is, it worked fine for cron too before we updated the vMA to 5.0.0.1 Build 643553. Any ideas how to solve this?

I  have deployed the vCenter vApp to serve as a web client server (all  other vSphere services are disabled) and it allows me to logon to any of the 2 vCenters that we have but throws "Unable to connect to vCenter Inventory  Service on <FQDN to the other vCenter in linked mode>". Anyone with  experience of using the web client and linked mode vCenters who have  seen this?
