Hi @VSnip In real word might be problematic to shut down whole cluster each time when you like to backup it. Instead I'd recommend to do image level backup and just do NOT quiesce the file system on vrops appliance and do NOT backup during DT (Dynamic Threshold) calculations. I stick to those two rules and I never had a problem with vrops backup consistency or problems with vrops nodes caused by backup. Please check this blog for more details => https://michaelryom.dk/vrops-backup-done-right/?doing_wp_cron=1632299398.2189249992370605468750

Hi All vROPs 8.5 just like to know what is yours experience with vrops alerts. Just notice that some alerts will take long time before they change status from active to inactive even if wait/cancel cycle is set 1/1 (default 5 min). The issue is resolve but alerts like object is down remain active sometimes for 2 days! I thought they should change status after one cycle? Let me know what is your experience. Thanks in advance

Hi @franckehret Please check api.log on vrops appliance as per => https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/55031 it might give you more clues Pleas look at journal file for vrops appliance as sell https://vrealizeandbeyond.com/2020/01/vrealize-operation-8-x-services-check-and-restart/ Sound like API call fails when is trying validating something related to licenses. Don't know much about API but maybe you can try to find more an vrops API documentation => https://docs.vmware.com/en/vRealize-Operations-Manager/8.4/com.vmware.vcom.api.doc/GUID-C27B4402-56DF-45D6-8813-EC2617D24407.html Let me know if you will find something Reg.

Hi All I have vROPs 8.4 and would like to integrate it with vRA 8.4 (3 node cluster) and vRLI 8.4 (two 3 node cluster in two separated data centers). I notice that I can only and one server (administration>managment>integration>vRA or vRLI) so as I use load balancer for both vRA and vRLI I integrated it via load balancer FQDN. Now when I check vRA 8.x Health object or vRLI Health object I can see load balancer but not nodes behind it How should I integrate it so I can monitor all nodes that are part of vRA and vRLI cluster, 2 separated cluster for vRLI like for example vIDM management pack that after registration via load balancer can see all the nodes behind. Thanks

Regarding open source telegraph agent I thought it will be supported in vrops 8.6 and for now I can just install vmware one telegraph agent? Thanks

Still no joy, just wonder if that change required redescribe process like other adapters when updated, but can't find it for vCenter adapter Property's are enabled but I can only see them on VM's with new snapshots not for generic Virtual Machine objects. Any idea let me know how to make it working.

Hi All I followed instruction from that link Snapshot Detail Dashboard for vRealize Operations 8.2 and Cloud I have enabled two mentioned properties on default policy but then when I try to use imported report or view they are not working. I notice that both enabled property's are not available for "virtual machine" data but when I select some object (virtual machine) then I can see those property's but deeper in the tree of that object What should I do to see that property on every virtual machine object? Thanks
I agree with @vbondzio most likely hostd is crashing (probably you will find hostd dump file in /var/log/vmware/ folder), for troubleshooting refer to https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1002849
