The 3rd is stuck at 42% in recent tasks on "VDP:Configuring Import Storage" I check the logs at /usr/local/avamar/var/vdr/server_logs and I'm not seeing anything helpful. From the https://vdpappl:8543/vdp-configure/  it's hasn't moved for 90 minutes.  Any advice would be appreciated. VDP: Starting VDP Import Storage Service... I just got of the phone with vmware support and this is the crux of what he said: Officially, it's not supported in 5.1, however, if you have the plug-in for VDR in vCenter, you can do restores. It's best to do a restore rehearsal and never overwrite the existing VM. He also recommended to keep VDR and VDP on separate hosts and to keep VDR powered off until you need to do a restore. If you're using DRS, just create a rule that will separate virtual machines. This way, they won't wind up on the same host by mistake.
So you can restore from VDR while you're current backups are running under VDP? I would like to use vdr-migration, but if I can just keep VDR around until the retention is up, I'd rather do that... See more...

Yes indeed. I had my accounts backward. I read your reply and noticed my mistake.
That was my problem.  I had  the accounts transposed. Thanks Atul_gen.
Thanks for the info. 32bit VMs it is.
Does that forestall the ability to run a 64-bit OS in this environment? I understood VT to be a requirement, but is EPT as well?

I'm having the same issue. I was running ws 8.0.2 when the ESXI 4.1U2 hosts were built. The server I'm running workstation on is running 2008 R2 bios has been updated and has all the latest virtualization features (Execute disabled-enabled as well as VT enabled) I booted the server from the cpuinfo iso and it confirmed that 64-bit longmode and vmware are both set to yes. I ran esxcfg-info on the virtual ESXi 4.1U2 host and it tells me HV support is 0 When I go to install a 64bit VM nested on the ESXi host I get this message when powering on the VM Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT was enabled in 8.0.2. Since the upgrade, it's still enabled, but hard coded. Any help you can off would be appreciated. The reason I'm running esxi4.1 is to document the upgrade process. Thanks!
