Found this article to reset password: My default was set properly to never expire the root password but possibly the upgrade to 3.4.0.0 did something to it but the setting was not changed once I logged in at console level as root and followed the first option in article to go back to default https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/52652
This has been fine for quite a while but now we only get locked out using admin and the password that has been used for a long time; I rebooted and still the same issue, any suggestions?

Hi, I have the same issue. I have tried version 3.4, 3.3 and 3.2 of Skyline collector and all of them are saying "AD authentication not configured". I can log in to appliance through console using the same credentials so it is not the problem with username and  password. In both cases I am using username "root" without domain.

Trying to login from Browser to Skyline Server as root and it will not let me get past the following error: ! AD authentication not configured We do not have that configured and have not had it configured in the past and we've always been able to login.
@jtb63, Please try with your administrator account, meanwhile may I know the version of Skyline you're running (maybe share the snip)
I am trying to add 2 NEW vCenters and everywhere it says to click on Configuration, but I do not see it.  I am logged in as Me do I need to login as Admin?

We’re pleased to announce a new VMware Skyline Advisor Pro release with support for SaaS subscriptions, including vSphere+, vSAN+, and vCF+ support, and new proactive Findings. If you have Auto Upgrade enabled, your Skyline Collector will automatically update.     A summary of the new features is below. For additional details review the Skyline Advisor Release Notes.  Log into Skyline Advisor Pro today to see the new enhancements!        New Feature Highlights:       SaaS Subscription Support  Customers with VMware SaaS subscriptions, including vSphere+, vSAN+, and vCF+ can now use Skyline Advisor Pro. Currently, the VMware Production Support level is assigned to all active SaaS subscriptions. When both an Entitlement Account and a SaaS Subscription are present, Skyline access is based on the highest Entitlement Account level. To access Skyline, at least one Entitlement Account or SaaS subscription needs to be active or linked. A grace period of 60 days is activated after the last Entitlement Account or SaaS subscription expires. During this time, you can assign an active Entitlement Account or new SaaS subscription to continue Skyline operations. Otherwise, the service will enter a deactivated state. View information about your current EA and SaaS subscriptions on the Advisor Pro Dashboard. Learn more  New Proactive Findings    Several new proactive Findings have been released, including security vulnerabilities, trending support issues and more. You could try to connect with vCenter using the curl command below, Open the console of Skyline VM curl -v https://vcenterfqdn:443 curl -v https://vcenterfqdn:7444 4. Lastly, You may try to delete the vCenter from Skyline Collector and re-add afresh.
