Hi i just struggled with this error for a few hours but wondering why isn't the documentation easier to address this issue? the allowUnexpectedHost parametter did not work for me as everyone like to say. my horizon architecture consist of   3 connection servers  and  a loadbalancer (fortinet) What worked for me is editing the file C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\sslgateway\conf\locked.properties On every connection server : just add or create a new file  (in our config there wasn't this file) portalHost.1 = YOUR_CONNECTIONSERVER HOSTNAME portalHost.2 = YOUR_CONNECTIONSERVER  FQDN portalHost.3 = YOUR_CONNECTIONSERVER IPADDRESS portalHost.4 = YOUR_LOADBALANCER HOSTNAME portalHost.5 = YOUR_LOADBALANCER FQDN portalHost.6 = YOUR_LOADBALANCER IPADDRESS   Save & Restart Connexionserver service , wait until the other services are started and wait for tomcat process to stop  freezing the cpu. Retry the connection Enjoy!
This worked for me as well -- thank you !

Notifications stay and are not auto cleared if the issue is resolved.
I checked this issue internally and got to know that the finding "OPERATIONS-Skippinglocal6rotate-KB#92387" was a false positive. They have disabled this finding.

As stated, we received an email alert stating our collector is unhealthy.  The email shows a status of : "NO_DATA". The web portal dashboard shows the collector is healthy although it also shows a "Notification" on the right is a link that states "Collector Skyline - Collector is Unhealthy.  Please resotry your Collectors to Healthy status to resume receiving proactive Findings in Advisor Pro".  If I click on the link, it takes me to the collectors page and shows me my one healthy collector that shows my last successful upload 21 minutes ago. I'm not sure if this is a false positive?  Does the "Notification" remain for a set amount of time before it resets even if the condition changed from unhealthy to healthy?  How can I clear the "Notification"?   Any other input?   Thanks, Aaron

Trying to update SHD from 4.0 to 4.0.1 but can't seem to be able to initiate the update/patch process. I have downloaded the patch via the "Download Updates" option in the tool, verified the manifest/patch files are present, and verified their SHA1 is correct as well. /opt/vmware-shd/vmware-shd/log/vmware-shd-update.log doesn't indicate that it is aware that a patch has been downloaded. I have restarted the vmware-shd service as well as rebooted the appliance with no avail. Any ideas to get this patch update process to initiate?  Thanks

SHD appliance at 4.0.0. Deployed original version 3.0.2 from ova, with subsequent updates via the appliance. To reproduce, SSH to appliance and log in as root. Mail is at /var/mail/root Cron jobs are at /etc/cron.d. There is a file called sysstat that contains the following. Manually executing the sa1 script gives the output, "mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/var/log/sa’: File exists". The sa1 script is dated 2022-11-21, which is possibly when the problem was introduced, if it is the source. # Run system activity accounting tool every 10 minutes */10 * * * * root /usr/lib/sa/sa1 1 1 # 0 * * * * root /usr/lib/sa/sa1 600 6 # Generate a text summary of previous day process accounting at 00:07 7 0 * * * root /usr/lib/sa/sa2 -A
Thank you for the link, you made my day
resolved the network issue by creating the file touch /etc/systemd/network/10-eth0.network.manual and providing permissions.
