If it's on that page in the path, it's a valid option as far as I'm aware. Email certification@vmware.com and ask them to confirm.

Yes, you have to meet all the requirements of the certification - so training and exam, in either order.
Did you meet the training requirement for the certification? https://www.vmware.com/content/vmware/vmware-published-sites/us/learning/certification/spring-certified-pro.html.html
Seems weird to me since that site doesn't offer any VMware courses: Got a screenshot of the rewards page?

You will need to update your VCP, at the moment you can do that by passing the Professional exam for vSphere 7.x or vSphere 8.x https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcp-dcv.html
Look through the exam guide for the exam for DCV and work out what knowledge gaps you have. https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcp-dcv-8-exam.html
You’re welcome.
@Sachchidanand  That's not for VeloCloud (SD-WAN)
Go to this page: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification.html Select Network Virtualization then look at the Badges for SD-WAN.

Did your training registration and exam registration use the same email address? If so, there shouldn't be anything you need to do - just wait and your certification should be confirmed. If not, you need to email certification@vmware.com and ask them to merge your accounts on their system (this is a user forum and not a substitute for opening a ticket with the team at VMware)
Yes there is still a Cisco path here: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcp-nv-nsxt.html
I don’t know if there’s any such thing.
I don't know if there are other partner-only badges, but the Application Modernization section of this page has certifications and badges for Tanzu: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification.html
Search this document for “merge” to find out what is needed in terms of certification: https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/certification/vmw-certification-faqs.pdf
Email certification@vmware.com with information about you and your exam. Do you think the quality of some of the items were the cause of you not passing, or something else?
Practice exam and the exam guide PDF are here: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcap-dcv-deploy.html Otherwise, search for bloggers who have unofficial study notes/guides.

Select the option on this page which applies to you: https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcp-dcv.html A VCP from 2021 would mean you only have a hard requirement to pass either the Professional vSphere 7.x exam or the Professional vSphere 8.x exam, the training is only “recommended” rather than “required”.
