If this is for free to qualified candidates, why can't VMware just make a professional CBT or Youtube of the bootcamp with extensive coverage in the blueprints and all candidates or future candidates should benefit inclusively, safe lots of traveling costs as well as VMware staff/resources.  

Gregg/Anyone, Do you know when is the VCAP5-DCA official blueprints will be release?  I am preparing for VCAP4-DCA but may postpone for v.5 instead, but your blog is good starting points for collaborative resources, looking forward to see more useful documentations. If you know where to download the blueprint for v.5 would be great thanks in advance!  Anyone has any good guess as how long to wait for release date?

These VSP, VTSP and accreditations are only needed if you're working for a VAC partners in this case if you're looking to attain VAC status or accredits to performance services, then all your Sales and Engineers would grant access to Central Partner portal and register for those modules and its very easy. Most of the questions between 10-20 questions and its very easy all informations are through the flash modules if you listen if not your own experience will definitely answer 60% of the questions but you need 80% to pass so best to listen and focus. Godo news is you have unlimited retries so good luck. Among VSP & VTSP they are also 4 different accreditations you can certified in. BTW, I had access to Partner Central 16 months ago but never completed it until last weekend, I spent one whole day to complete 4 accreditions and VSP & VTSP so that's not hard if you really want to get it quickly. The requirements you most concern is your physical training lab that you have enough hosts and SAN for the students and two of them assign to hosts/SAN for the lab for the instructors just required two VCI on board and all gears/labs must be certified and bound to VMware educations standards which you will receive from VATC manager. The online course is pretty standard across the board in terms of materials and modules but you missed the live experience seeing friends/colleagues and share knowledge by approaching in person. You may communicate live chat online but that's something you have to decide if you're comfortable having a virtual classroom. Also, it saves you a lot of money for flight and hotel expenses and with this virtual online class you can sit at your desk or on your bed and still login and study fine. It has some pros and cons and really its something you might decide but for the quality of the course, its all the same. I believe in person training its more dynamic and best way to networking with other professionals and good excuse to travel! I'm not a VCI but can certified at time if willing to sit the course with VCI again. Its a matter of interests and traveling issues. I do consulting right now and its fixed client for several years or longer. I might be doing it when it comes, but most of my friends are VCI and they are some pros/cons. If you teach for VMware, then its being schedule depends on registered students online for each locations. Its worldwide, so i'm sure its very demand and busy. If some modules of Self-Paced Online training is free would that meet the VCP exam prerequisite? or Self-Pace online is for personal knowledge only not fully design like VI3.5: Install & Configured course? If we pay the rest of the fee for Self-Pace Online training, would we be eligible to sit for VCP exam this way it might be cheaper for those who already work with VMware products on a daily basis.
