I did notice that with 5.3, and I’m guessing 5.2 as well, that the USB hover message changed from “USB has been restricted by policy” (or something similar) in 5.1 to “USB Disabled”. I’m suspecting it’s also blocking the mouse For some reason. Im using a Kensington Expert Mouse. Maybe because it’s not a basic mouse profile?
Quite disappointing. I'm a contractor at a client site, so I don't have direct access to VMWare support. I'll see if I can get the client to create a support ticket on this.

I was prompted to upgrade yesterday, but passed until today. I'm not sure of my previous version. When I launched my VDI using 5.2.1 it connected fine, but did not respond to mouse clicks. Keyboard was fine. I reverted back to 5.1.0 and the mouse works fine again. --Chris
