The last of my Workspace One servers on Server 2012 R2 is our SEG. We tried doing straight upgrade which sort of worked on it but the SEG would never start after the first reboot. VMWare support wasn't able to help with that. So I have built a clean 2022 server. Has anyone else moved their SEG to a new server? If so what steps did you take to accomplish this with the least amount of impact to your users?

Does anyone know of a way to setup groups to query AD so that users are automatically moved to proper groups if they are moved from Exchange to 365 or vice-versa? Manually doing it isn't hard but we have a lot of turn over in our helpdesk. So it seems as soon as I get them trained on how to do this right they are gone and I have to teach the new people. In an understaffed admin environment this isn't time well spent. I know in AD the targetAddress field is only used for our 365 users. If I could query if that field exists with data I think I could get this to work.

On the database part. I spoke with support and they said to upgrade to 9.3 on the database and there was no newer version for the database. I'm not sure if they just aren't aware of the newer versions in the full installer or they aren't needed. Anyone know for sure.

We are currently on 9.2.3 on premise. I went to see if there were any upgrades and now I see there is a 9.3, 9.4, and a 9.5. What's with all the new significant versions in such a short time? I upgraded to 9.2.3 earlier this year and it was the latest when I installed it. Has anyone tried them all and find one to be more stable than the others? Stability matters most to me. Do any provide a better user experience?
