Ciao check that, on the clients where the certificate installed on the horizon infrastructure is not verified correctly, there is the certificate of the root ca (of the external body that issued the certificate or of your internal CA) and that these clients can reach the CRL (certification revocation list). It's not very nice in terms of security to turn off certificate checking. If you want to know how to check which root certificates you have installed tell me something.

Ciao yes, I use RDSH session. I also tried on different Horizon environments with different versions of the connection Server (7.13.1 and 2212) and in an RDSH session if I have the agent at 7.13.3 or 7.13.1 the problem occurs (as I said it does not occur if I have the agent 8.8)
Hi ofox, I have the same version for Horizon GPO and Horizon Agent (7.13.3) If I use version 8.8 of Horizon Agent (with Horizon GPO at version 7.13.3) the GPO work correctly.

Ciao are there any issue to use the GPO print name schema (VMware Integrated Printing policy) with horizon agent 7.13.x? I have a customer where the GPO not running. The printers (redirect from horizon client) have always (v%S) although we configured a Active Directory Policy with Printer Name Schema with %P %C. The pool is a RDS POOL. We have tested the configuration with a Horizon 8 Lab enviroment and the GPO works.

Ciao I've always used DEM and APPVolume (writable Volume) to manage Office 365 and I've never had any problems. I recommend this combination because it is among those supported by VMware At this link, you will find all the supported solutions https://techzone.vmware.com/resource/best-practices-delivering-microsoft-office-365-vmware-horizon#solutions-for-desktops Only DEM is not supported there are these combinations

Ciao It's not an inactivity timeout. the settings in question are only for safety timeouts. So even if you're using the session the timeout still takes effect. To increase the console timeout you must also consider increasing the API timeout because that is the maximum limit. Fabio

Ciao if I understand correctly you want to place the ost on a network share. This is not possible due to limitations related to Outlook it is necessary to place it on local disks https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/troubleshoot/data-files/cannot-add-pst-or-ost-file-on-non-local-drive The only supported solution is to use the writable volumes of appvolume. https://blogs.vmware.com/euc/2016/08/app-volumes-user-environment-manager-managing-ost-files.html https://ageroskam.nl/app-volumes-2-x/create-a-custom-writeable-volume-for-specifically-the-outlook-ost-and-search-indexes/

HI @yukiafronia I explained myself badly, I know very well the difference and what are the advantages and disadvantages of using automatic (instant clone) or manual pools. I was telling @tedykgb that if he wants I can explain in detail the difference and what are the disadvantages of using manual pools.

Hi @tedykgb and @yukiafronia As mentioned before, two types of pools can be configured in horizon: where (other question is RDS Desktop pool) automatic desktop pool: normally are instant clones and the user profile must be saved outside the VDI VM to be maintained you can do it with DEM, APPVOLUME (Writable Volume) or FSLogix These VMs are "destroyed" when the user logs off Manuals desktop pool: Persistent VM machines that are never destroyed and come and profile is local to the VM and always stay in the VM Then if you want I'll explain why in most cases it is very advantageous to have instant clones for which automatic pools. So @yukiafronia has configurated an automatic pool and needs to configure one of the above profile management tools.
HI What infrastructure have you implemented for managing user profiles? DEM? AppVolume? FSLogix? From what I understand you have implemented an instant clone pool if you don't have systems that sav...

HI What infrastructure have you implemented for managing user profiles? DEM? AppVolume? FSLogix? From what I understand you have implemented an instant clone pool if you don't have systems that save the profile outside the VDI you lose the whole profile. Otherwise you have to make VMs persistent.

Ciao I don't think it's possible to download a trial other than the latest version of the product. Note that you also need to evaluate compatibility with Horizon, DEM and ESXi. The first tests will be done in a LAB or on production (not recommended). I recommend upgrading the infrastructure to 7.x if you have a lab. Being 6.7 it is no longer in support From this link, you can make interoperability matrices between VMware products https://interopmatrix.vmware.com/

HI I know of two possibilities for using the Google Authenticator application: - Horizon integration with Azure AD - Using Workspace One Access Horizon integration with Azure AD You need have your Active Directory user accounts replicated on Azure AD (for the best user experience) and configure an Azure enterprise Application for integration between Azure AD and UAG (Unified Access Gateway) Tutorial: Azure Active Directory single sign-on (SSO) integration with VMware Horizon - Unified Access Gateway - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn Using Workspace One Access In the second case, we need to install Workspace One Access (public the horizon from him) and in the latest version 22.09 we can directly integrate various APP authenticators (including the google one) Authenticator APP and Workspace One Access – BIOLNX (vmvirtual.blog)
