I'm trying to create a gold image for deployment, however when i use the tool I'm having a problem with the screen saver after 15 minutes. i wish to change some settings for this. however i am unable to do so. i have tried registry changes, GPO, etc and all nothing. if i do not run the optimization tool for a test VM i can adjust settings like i want. but the moment i do, i cannot. does anybody know what setting i need to adjust in the tool to let me do what i would like? because i am unable to find it in there. OK i have fixed the problem. i had to restart the Xorg service on all of my hosts even though i had rebooted the hosts quite a few times. strange. Stephen

We are running 4 Dell servers R740xd We have 4 Tesla M10 cards 1 in each server We have installed VMware 6.7 We have installed the NVidia grid vSphere 6.7-390.57-391.58 software in our ESXi hosts When I do a nvidia-smi I see the driver is loaded and everything there looks good. However when I try and add the PCI Device NVidia Grid vGPU (edit settings on the VM) the vGPU profile pull down box is empty. I’m unsure on how to fix this problem. I would love some help fixing it. we will be doing a infrastructure upgrade very soon, and this will include the use of Nvidia Grid M10, i have heard once i install the drivers for the video cards i will not be able to logon to the virtual desktop from the console if i need to do any maintenance on the system. i would have to connect to it via, RDP or VNC, if this is the case can i also connect to it via Team-viewer? yep that is correct. i have killed the thinapped application process, cleaned the sandbox and tried to restart the app. i get the same result. explorer.exe restarts itself. Stephen

ok here is the problem. if windows explorer crashes for any reason the thinapped program looks like it is going to start, however it will not start. however if you go in to the processes tab you will see the thinapped program running. however the program is not available to the user to use. the only way to "fix" the problem is to reboot the users desktop. user workstations Windows 7 64bit Stephen
