We have currently running on version 17.2 and will be upgrading to 18.3 Horizon Cloud Hosted to be done by VMware. We need to install HAI unified agent 18.2.2 which replaces DaaS agent and Horizon Agent on our RDSH master image. Do we need to update the ADMX files which is included in the download link for 18.3? File: Horizon 7.5.0 View GPO Bundle (VMware-Horizon-Extras-Bundle-4.8.0-8519436.zip)

Hi All, If there are any conflicting policy associated with the GPO linked to Users OU and a setting managed by UEM GPO. i.e. IE browser Proxy settings Which setting should win over if the loopback policy settings is set to Merge mode? We had a previous issue where we set our loopback policy settings from Replace to Merge and our end users ended up having their proxy setting configured from the GPO linked to the Users OU which they are located My understanding is that if we set to Merge and there are conflicting settings the GPOs (with user settings configured) linked to the computer OU should win over. Kindly advice.

Yes its correct. VMware support checked internally and confirmed that the user expiration status for an account will be available in backend logs, however, in user interface though the account is expired we will be getting the invalid username or password error during login attempt. It will be raised as a feature request with their product team which will be considered for upcoming release.

We don't have issue for users which password has expired already. They can change their passwords similar to the image you shared. Our problem is with AD users with expired accounts. For an expired account when they try to login the error they receive is "Logon failure: Unknown user name and password". The error should be something like i.e. "Login failure: Account has expired"

This is not about password expiry. They are trying to login on Horizon Client but the error is only Logon failure: Unknown user name and password. It should be something like Account has expired. Is this a limitation of Horizon Client or Horizon 7?

Hi Guys, We have a requirement for enabling the copy and paste feature in our environment however there is no chance Security would allow us with 512KB limitation which base from checking the documentation its the smallest value possible. We are trying to use GPO Blast or PCoIP policies. We are currently using Horizon 7.3. Is there any other way we can limit this to a value lesser than 512KB? We are hoping we can limit this to below 1K or 512bytes. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
