@MeyMath I am working with a different customer on a Teams issue where a few of the users are getting an error when Teams attempts to start. "There's a more permanent way to sign in to Microsoft Teams. If you're having trouble completing the process, talk to your IT admin." See attached for complete message. I implemented this in DEM for them but some users are still getting the above error. I looked on a horizon desktop and see all of the teams information in the C:\Users\rwulffenstein\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams directory which is not included in DEM. Should it be? @cerbadmins I realize this is a really old post and is probably no longer being monitored..... I am attempting to extract my .exe file to acquire a .msi for the Horizon Client but am not having any luck. The only thing that is being created is the log file which I have attached. Any help is appreciated!

@MeyMath Thank you for the response. I went back and looked at my Config file for Teams in DEM and discovered I was missing the IncludeFiles section. I added it and the first time I logged in it prompted me to click Sign IN on the screen where my userid was already filled it and then I had to type my password in. I logged out of the desktop, logged back in and now Teams signs in automatically. I have done this twice now and so far so good. When I get into Teams, it takes me to the Teams section instead of Chat. This is not a big deal but just curious if there is a way to make the default section Chat. Currently, my config file looks like this. I left all of the entries in the IncludeRegistryTrees section which I know you have taken out. Shall I remove the entries as you indicated? @MeyMath , Thank you for the post. So I added the above to my DEM config file for Teams for my Windows 10 virutal desktop and I have some different results. Now, when I login to the desktop I am presented with the Login screen showing my Account and a Sign In button (attached). When I click Sign in, it takes me directly into Teams without having to put my password in. So this is different behavior, maybe better since I don't haVe to type a password but would still prefer having it automatically logging in. I must be missing something....

So I have Teams auto logging in on my Windows 7 Horizon/virtual desktop using the proposed DEM configuration outlined above. However, this same configuration is not working for the Windows 10 Horizon/virtual desktop. What does the DEM configuration need to look like for Teams to auto login on my Windows 10 virtual desktops?

Does anyone have this working on an Instant Clone/Non-persistent Horizon desktop? I installed the Cisco Webex Meetings software on my image however each time I am on a Virtual desktop and attempt to run Webex to join a meeting, I need to install the application and enter my information (name, etc.). Does anyone have this working with UEM? I see the config file listed above however I do not have and Cisco entries under the HKCU\software folder, just WebEx folders.

Hello, We recently successfully upgraded our Horizon connection servers to 7.13 (from 7.8). However, I am having difficulty getting the 7.13 agent installed on my windows 7 golden image. I have successfully completed this on my Windows 10 image. The install progresses along and all of a sudden it says "rolling back" and the green progress bar goes backwards. We are running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64-bit. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello, We are trying to get OneDrive to "work" on a Windows 10 non-persistent Horizon desktop. And by "work" I mean when a user logs into a desktop, OneDrive auto connects to THEIR OneDrive "folder" without having to go through the login/connection settings each time. I started looking at UEM to see if UEM will capture the information I need. Currently my config file for OneDrive looks like the screen shot below and attached. What should the config file look like to capture the user's information for OneDrive? OR is there another way of doing this with GPO, etc.?? Thank you!
Hi @praviview, Should we delete the entry or just set the value to zero? HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\OneDrive. Delete DisableFileSyncNGSC Thank you. Rachel

Hello, I just installed O365 Viso on my image and am investigating on whether it is possible to hide it from the menu for the users that do not have license using UEM. Is there a configuration file or anything available for Visio? How do you control the visibility of an application using UEM?

Hello! I am looking for the best way to get Visio rolled out into our VMware Horizon environment. Currently we are running O365 which is installed on the image and need to get Visio installed as well. Visio will be used by only a FEW people so I do not know the best way to set this up. 1) Should I install it on the image and then control who gets it via UEM and who can actually use if via O365 licensing? 2) Should I install it on an AppStack and assign the AppStack to certain people? AND, what is the "best practice" for installing Visio? Is there a specific command for non-persistent desktops like there is for O365? Any and all help/suggestions are appreciated.
