Hi @Lieven , I am reading through the documentation you created but would you be able to tell me a couple of things: 1) Can we run FSLogix WITH DEM/UEM? I read something in the documentation on Profile Container that says it is installed and configured after stopping use of other solutions used to manage remote profiles. SO, I would assume that means UEM/DEM...? Please help me understand what this means? 2) Are we able to create the file shares on our UEM server? Thank you.

We are using Folder Redirection under the User Environment tab of UEM/DEM to redirect the Desktop and Documents folders. It is taking 5 seconds to redirect DESKTOP and we get this warning: 2020-12-17 16:35:41.548 [WARN ] Redirected 'Desktop' folder to '\\servername\home\%username%\Desktop' but initialization failed with error 0x80070005 ('Home Profile.xml'). It is taking 4 seconds to redirect DOCUMENTS and we get this warning: 2020-12-17 16:35:46.140 [WARN ] Redirected 'Documents' folder to '\\servername\home\%username%\Documents' but initialization failed with error 0x80070005 ('Home Profile.xml') 1) it does appear the desktop and documents folders ARE being redirected 2) why the warning? 3) how do we minimize the amount of time it takes to redirect these two folders? I realize 9 seconds does not sound like a lot but it currently takes about 33 seconds to process our UEM. So minimizing those two folders would be huge. Suggstions are greatly appreciated!

Hi @DEMdev , Here is a break down of my log file and the items I see with a length of time processing them: 1) 5 sec - Desktop Redirection 2) 4 sec - Documents Folder Redirection 3) 8 sec - Google Chrome Roaming Profile 4) 1 sec - Excel.zip 2016 5) 2 sec - Outlook.zip 2016 6) 1 sec - Office Shared Settings.zip 7) 1 sec - Word.zip 2016 1 sec - Windows Default Applications.zip 9) 4 sec - IE - Personal Settings.zip 10) 1 sec - Taskbar.zip 11) 2 sec Windows Explorer.zip Total time to process UEM/DEM: 33 seconds-ish (start = 13:08.12, end 13:08.45 We would really like to get the UEM/DEM process down to like HALF that amount of time. Current login times to get to a desktop (Windows 10) is over 1 minute.

@ijdemes & @DEMdev , What is the best way to Redirect the desktop without using Folder Redirection under the User Environment tab? I understand that can degrade filesystem and/or network performance. I have noticed it seems to length my login time. I have users that place things on their Horizon desktop and expect them to be there from one session to the next. We use non-persistent desktops so without redirecting the desktop, they will not be there.
@ijdemes , So today I was prompted for my password when Teams automatically started after logging into my Windows 10 desktop. This is NOT happening on our Windows 7 desktop.

Hi @sjesse , Both IE Passwords and Personal Certificates ARE Enabled in UEM. There is nothing listed in the FLEX Config file for either one. See attached.

@ijdemes So, including the Cache (<AppData>\Microsoft\Teams\Cache) folder in UEM is "required" to prevent login prompts for Teams. Is that correct? That is such a HUGE folder to load in UEM. Does ALL of the Cache directory need to be included? Importing such a large folder in UEM will increase login times.

I was able to get Teams to NOT launch when I used the condition of environment variable with username = to the one I was logging in with. I decided to remove that and add the group back as shown in the screen shot in the previous post and Teams did not launch this time either so we might be ok..??? I am looking at my log to see what part of it I should send....all of it? It has several entries for login/logout...?

@ijdemes , This is GREAT! I setup the shortcut and once I got the right path for Teams.exe it did indeed launch! I added a condition which doesn't seem to be working so that is my next task! I added a condition that the user is a member of a specific group and the user I logged in with is NOT in that group but Teams still launched.

HIijdemes, Thank you for the response. I do not have the key in the registry of my Golden image you specified in my registry. I have the one shown below. >> What I normally do is remove those items that do not need to auto start for everyone and let those items start for only those users that need it using DEM. This can be done using a Logon Task or a shortcut in the Startup folder. Not exactly sure how to do either of those....do you setup a Logon Task or shortcut and have a condition set for certain people or something?
