that's great new cbaptiste i'm currently running local profile which is redirected to a file server, configured via UEM I'm not brilliant with scripts so i wanted to ask, is the .bat file you are using run via scheduled tasks on the master image? pushed at logon? did you need to customise any of it? also, does the .BAT file need to be configured to run as an admin? can you let me know how you've actually configured deployed the script? thank you

Hi, Can someone please advise me on the below I'm packaging An App via a AppVolume server and a Windows 10 image. As part of the install, the app needs to connect to the internet and download some plugins I'm logged in as a Local Admin to the Windows 10 image, provisioning via the local admin account,  however the Local admin can not route out to the internet. only domain accounts with the correct privileges can do that. If i login with my domain account then AppVolume will not allow provisioning mode. the below prompt does not appear. If i go to the AppVol Server and click on provision before log on to the Win10 machine then i dont get the above prompt. not placing the Windows 10 machine in to provisioning mode. I guess what i'm asking is, can you only place a VM in to provisioning  mode while logged in as a local user? Seems a little odd as i wouldn't have thought this to be the case.
It turns out the quotes used in the .XML file were different. Who would have guessed Thank you for your help mchadwick19

So, i'm not going to have user logs because the profiles section isn't working, users profile creation redirection isnt working. do i add the flexdebig.txt to the NoAD.xml? InstallUEM.logs are these logs for the install of the agent or UEM management console? i've had a look in both directories and cant see them
Where and how do i pull the InstallUEM.logs? are there any user logs?

Hi, My Setup Windows 10 Master image with Horizon and UEM NoAD mode agent installed. UEM server/File server - UEM manager installed, Folder redirection set to UEMProfiles which is a file share on the UEM server. Every time my users login to there VDI session the profile is not getting redirected to the path defined in the NoAD.xml and UEM Console\ folder redirection, the NoAD mode xml is in the ....\UEMCONFIG\general\flexRepository\NoAD Every time they login they get a temp profile, i've gon in and deleted the use of the temp, still no luck When i click on VMware UEM self support on the master image i get the error "Invalid Flex Profile group policy config: Flex config files path and profile archive path must be configured" where do i check the registry for the noAD config?
This fixed if for me. Going to storage, "Upload PrePackaged Volumes" and select all 4 options see attached

Hi, I've built out an app volume server and a windows plain vanilla VM for installing applications. i can seem to mount a provisioning volume. I create the app in AppStack, click on provision, which then asked for the VM i want to use to provision the app. i select the VM to which i have the AppVol agent installed and that where i get the error. I've deployed Horizon view 7.8 the pools are working, master image is working. i'm just stuck with provisioning the applications. Has anyone seen this error before? we are using vSAN, all flash for storage. i've checked the path when creating the app. the path exists, the 20gb template vmdk is on the vSAN...the agent on the Vanilla machine is working otherwise the AppVolume wouldnt see it. The Vanilla VM is part of the domain but not part of specific OU as of yet. just in computers for now. The AppVolume server can ping the vanilla VM. they are in different vCenters. Let me know your thoughts Regards Arshad
