We are a University. I run engineering software in Horizon and it runs really well some of the software are, AutoCad, Ansys, AutoDesk, Revit, SolidWorks, Mathematica, etc... We use GPU's. The one software that I'm struggling with is Lumion, has anyone else tried to run Lumion in a virtual environment? If I turn down the graphic quality (66%) the software runs much better it doesn't run perfectly smooth but is sufficient for class. I given it 4 gpu and 8 gpu and it didn't change the quality or smoothness. I've monitored the backend for network and server disk io's nothing to report on that. I'm looking to see if I can find the bottleneck for the software and if I might be able to optimize its performance better. I am using 10zig boxes in the classroom. Here is the requirement to run the software. https://lumion.com/requirements.html This is what I made this is way more than they need: CPU: 10 Ram: 32 Hardrive free: 80gb GPU: 8 Horizon 7.13, w/NVidia T4 graphics card in the servers.
