Hello! Using RDS and mandatory profile with en-us language and want to be able to set different date formats when user log on. Is this achieveable with UEM?
Using 7.5.1 and the button is still highligted and clickable

When running Horizon Client from outside through UAG and settings from Connections servers via RDSH published apps and remote desktops says Default protocol "BLAST" i get black screen and "Connection to the remote computer ended". If i change protocol on Horizon Client from Default "BLAST" to "PCOIP" i get it running. HTML access works fine, all RDS desktops and applications works as it should. What can be wrong, it seems that UAG not even trying to connect via 22443 when looking at Cisco logs.
Unfortunately the old post's location doesent seem to work on 7.5.

We have published RDS apps on Horizon 7.5.1, and any browser except Edge works. Launching an app on side bar just ends up in a grey page. Using UAG in front. First we encountered problem with Edge on logon page, the credentials parts had the spinning circle. Found out that we needed checkOrigin=false on conn servers. After that we succeded in logging on but now we ends up with a grey page, and this is only on Edge. Any ideas?
Hi! Is there a way to disable CAD on sidebar when only using HTML access for publishing RDS apps? Only confusing to the users ending up on the RDS server when pressing CAD button.

Using UEM 9.3 and Win 10 1709 on Horizon 7.3.2 linked clones no-refresh and first time user logs in the Edge Icon in Task Bar is blank. Clicking the blank area starts Edge and Everything seems fine. After logging out and enter a new machine that the user never been logged on to the same appears, blank Edge Icon. If user log on a machine that previously has been logged on to, the Edge Icon is there. Using Windows 10 start menu init like: IncludeRegistryTrees] HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore IncludeIndividualRegistryValues] HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SlowContextMenuEntries IncludeFolderTrees] <LocalAppData>\microsoft\windows\caches And Edge settings Direct Flex Export when last executable exits and: C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge.exe C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe
Its a pity though that UEM doesnt manage this like Persona Mgmt did, as UEM is paid extra for. Do you have an example of using UEM and delprof to get rid of the profile from someone logging out?

We are not refreshing them, they are persisting. Thats the problem, a lot of local profiles fills up on the vm's. We use Windows 10 1607 and Horizon 7.2. As Pim mentioned above, is this still not recommended? Seems to be a problem with a profile mgmt tool that we pay money for that cant handle deleting of the local profile as the user log off when the free mgmt tool Persona Management could handle it.
Anyone that has any news on this how to get rid of the local profile when logoff. As i mentioned first, this worked fine i Persona Mgmt.

I guess youre right. When i test this and logoff and logon quick the underlying UEM agent system is doing stuff in background. Thats why i got ERROR, if i wait a couple of minutes there is no ERRORs. Yes, thats exactly what we tried. But as Pim van der Plis also says in some thread here its not recommended to use it as it corrupts the profile.
Sorry, they are linked clone but persistent. They need to be patched always and we have no resources avalable to patch the golden image and recreate vms all the time.

The problem is not that the vms not getting restarted every time user log off, its the fact that there is local profiles residing on them. As far as i know, there is no safe way to delete local profile at logoff in UEM. We tried it with the ADMX templates and the profile got corrupt. We use to do that in Persona Management in Win 7 and it worked great. When Windows 10 came we decided to go for UEM and its is a real tradeoff to not be able to delete profiles at logoff.

Hi, When i run a Windows 10 non-persistent vm with UEM activated i get blank Icons on IE 11 after saving them as favorites. I save them and it looks ok but after log out and back in and the Icons is back to the standard blank with an "e" on it. When i look at the logs i see some errors claiming user rights on the files that get saved. Nothing else in the logs tells me there are user rights problems. Anyone seen this?

Thtas right, the apps arent even searchable on the machine anymore. It is the local profile on the actual vm we're talking about. we dont want to hoard up a lot of profiles on them locally. Attached pls find the debug logs from this sequence: -Login to the actual pool, everything seems fine -Logoff -Login to the same vm on the actual pool, Edge, Calc, Maps, Alarms, Sticky Notes etc is gone -Logoff
This happens only when i have this setting enabled. If i enter at vm that has not been used it seems ok first time, next time the apps is gone.

Running linked-clone floating pool Windows 10 1607 and no-refresh. Want to get rid of local profiles building up on the vm's at logoff. Always had this setting with Persona Management, now trialing UEM. Using ADMX-based settings template with Remove Local Profile at Logoff. This setting causes Edge, Calc etc  to disappear at next login. Any ideas what to use instead?
