Hello all the smart heads out there... **************** SYSTEM ************** Horizon agent: 7.3.2 - Instant Clone. UEM Agent: 9.3.0.804 Appvolume Agent: 2.13.2.13 ****************************************** Skype for business is a problem child in Horizon VDI! We are running office 365, version 16.0.8431.2107 as we speak. It might be the wrong forum to post this topic, but since UEM is where we run policyes and deploys settings, i wantet du try it here first. What we see is within VDI some users are not able to search for co workers, they have to fill inn hole email adress to reach them. Locally on their laptops they are able to type the two/three first letters and then skype pop up suggestions... Another thing that is a brainkiller and very frustrating for users, is that Skype pop up in front very, very, very often. By policy, skype logs on automaticly at logon, and it starts minimized. I see that you use over 1 minute mapping these printers. I had to install all printers into my image and then remove them again, so the image has all the print drivers. Then they will appear in the image and you dont need to install them everytime you log on. Then i assume you will find your printers.
Well, we did a change on the permissions last night, and added Authenticated users with the correct permissions to the HomeDirecotries, and now it seems to work fine.

I have tried to unchech the documents folder redir: But still i got the same error. And there is nothing with the config that has to do with the homefolder, since everything is written to %appdata% and %localappdata%. But we are looking at NTFS and share permissions as we speak... but i cant see that these permission has anything to do with this issue... but still strange

I do not understand why it works when i disable folder redirection let the user log on and start the application, so can UEM collect data written to %localappdata% and %appdata%, and then log off, enable folder redirection and log on again. Path to %appdata% and %localappdata% is the same even if UEM Folder redirection is enabled or diabled. It seems like a BUG somewhere, since this is happening to a couple of applications as far as i can see. I don't see why folder redirection should have anything to say about this...

Hi folks. I'm working on a windows 10 image, and i'm running version 1703 as we speak. I'm running mandatory profile.  My system: Horizon agent 7.3.1 UEM 9.2.1.794 Appvolume 2.12.1.103 When i log on, i have a great exprience with the logontime. We are talking about 20-25 seconds. And about 12 seconds from FlexEngine starts to its finished. Right now, i do not run to much of policies, and i asusme that it will slow down my logontime a bit. But, when i attach an AppVolume(with office 265) to my windows, the logon time increase with almost a minute... Hi. I have an issue that i need to solve. We have two different systems that our users need to use in their daily work, but these systems must use their own version of precut. Both are using file extention .edlp. So i need to install 2 different versions of precut on my clients. Both systems are web based systems, that will start the .edlp file in precut, depending of which website it comes from. Is it possible to use UEM to set some userpolicyes regarding this? Environment variables? Some kind of script? I might been posting this in the wrong forum, if so, my apologize. Best regards lansti

Hi UEMdev... I might found a kind of a BUG i GPO... When you told me to remove the longon script in GPO, i did so, but when i had a look now, it also removed the LOGOFF setting. When i looked into the settings, this logoff policy was gone: But as you can see, it is actually there... WHen i removed the logoff setting in the properties, and added it again: Then i can see it there, and when my users was testing, UEM was exporting stuff into their profiles... Next step is to let user credentials be stored into UEM, so they do not get promptet for Outlook credentials everytime they logs on... and other credentials they want the system to remember by clicking "remember me" option...
Hi UEMdev I sent you the registry settings on PM right after i postet the new logs yesterday...you didn't het it?
Hi UEMdev He told me that he logged off, but i also had another user doing the same several times... logges are atatched. Thank you very much for taking your time with this. Br Lansti
