Could you please observe the events at vSphere and see if the App Package disk is attached to Virtual Machine at the time of logon?   On App Volume Manager Server: Please Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\CloudVolumes\Manager\log" and open the latest ProductionXXXXXX.log file and go to end of the file and search upwards for "ERROR" and "500" or with the name of the agent machine. If you see an exception, locate the beginning of the exception which will give information about the cause of this issue.
We can also just use %P at Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\PrintRedir\PrinterNameSchema which would eliminate (vdi) completely and just keeps the printer name

Hello, I understand that you would like to use the Local Keyboard Language layout used on Base image instead of syncing the client keyboard on Agent Desktop.   On Horizon Agent Desktop could you please try adding the following registry keys which disabled the client--Agent Keyboard sync. Agent Registry: For PCoIP: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Teradici\PCoIP\pcoip_admin] pcoip.enable_input_language_sync = (REG_DWORD) 0 For Blast: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\VMware, Inc.\VMware Blast\Config] KeyboardLocaleSyncEnabled = (REG_SZ) 0   Note: The Language settings or keyboard layout installed on base image would be mostly limited to the user account you have used to login to base image. If you would like to make sure all the users logging in to VDI cloned out of this base image to have same keyboard layout then follow the below procedure on base Image before snapshot:  * Open Settings --> Time and Language * Add the keyboard layouts or make sure you have all the required keyboard layouts * Then on the same page Under Related Settings click on "Administrative Language Settings" and click on "Copy Settings" Then enable both the check box "Welcome Screen and System Accounts" and "New user accounts" and click ok.  Screenshot below: I hope this information helps you narrow down the problem. Best of luck.

Hello, If the issue mainly affects the Teams Application's audio and microphone, further verification of the "Media Optimisation For Microsoft Teams feature" may be necessary. Please verify the following actions: Client Side Validation: * The Media Optimisation for Microsoft Teams feature is installed by default if you are using Horizon Client For Linux 2206 or Earlier Version, but you have the option to deselect the functionality during the install. as displayed in the screenshot below * If you are using Horizon Client For Linux 2209 or later, then the option is not available in the installer, the feature is always enabled like shown in screenshot: * Logs html5Client-*.log located at "/tmp/vmware-<username> folder can reviewed. Keyword or message to look for would be: "command":"createInstanceDone" "featuresSupported":["video","screenshare","multimonitorscreenshare"] Agent Side Validation:  * Validate if the feature is enabled Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > VMware View Agent Configuration > VMware HTML5 Features > VMware WebRTC Redirection Features > Enable Media Optimization for Microsoft Teams. [ Note: With 2209 or earlier version of Horizon Agent, this feature is only controller by GPO. It is Disabled by default ] * Does Audio and Mic works fine on teams app by turning off this feature.  * Open teams web client on browser and validate if the mic and sound works on browser fine? I hope this information helps you narrow down the problem. Best of luck.

Hello, I have seen similar discussion about M1 Macbooks on other threads with external monitors on it. I still see this something on M1 end. Following pointers can be helpful: Set refresh rate to 60HZ. Set the MACBook device internal display as Primary Display Ensure the external monitor resolution is at native resolution level instead of custom or non-native high resolution https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253357190

Hello, When we are doing OU based assignments for instant clone VDI desktops, its important to use naming prefix of VDI desktop naming pattern at "Limit delivery for these assignments" option. This is a check box is available during assignment of application.  If we dont use this, it will assign application to all the computers in that OU resulting that even internal "it-xxxxxxxx" (Instant Clone Internal Template) Computer object getting the application assignment. Since this is hot-add may interrupt the forking process.  For more information please refer this link: Application Assignment to Specific Computers

Hello, I don't think UAG uses Angular JS. It might be from your paired destination server's HTML access page component.

Hello Please go to https://<vcfdqn>/certs/download.zip URL [ Ensure to replace vcfqdn word on URL with your vCenter Fully Qualified domain name ] Then it will show up some garbled charecters and don't worry about. You may just right click and do "Save As" and save the zip file.  Extract the zip file and you would find the CRL and CRT files. Import them on to all your Horizon Connection Servers at Trusted Root and at intermediate Reboot the Horizon Connection Server.  Then Open Horizon admin UI --> Settings --> Server -- > Edit on vCenter and under user if username defined as "username@domain.com" replace it with "domain\username" or viceversa. Type the password and click save. At this stage it gives you a prompt to accept the thumbprint. Please accept it and post that pae-VCSslCertThumbprint and pae-VCSslCertThumbprintAlgorithm will be persistent If step 6 fails, then set the registry key "CertificateRevocationCheckType" value to 1 to disable CRL check [ Reference : https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon-7/7.13/horizon-installation/GUID-D1190AE8-1677-4637-9345-BEE0F39507DF.html ]

Hello, There are 6 Bandwidth profiles available on DEM Smart Policies which can only be used for Blast Connections. These 5 settings have an individual profile code which would be configured on "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Vmware, Inc.\Vmware Blast\Config" * Depending on the profile you choose the Horizon reads the profile value and sets the bandwidth parameters for that session per profile setting. [ Example parameter: Minimum and Maximum Bandwidth KBPS for session, FPS, display quality etc., ]  * By default the Blast is adjusted for best performance, you could either go with using "Low Speed Wan" for your 1st scenario of WFH India Users and you could leave the smart policy disabled for Office Users.  * If the bandwidth profile values not providing you the good results, then you may refer the "https://techzone.vmware.com/resource/vmware-blast-extreme-optimization-guide#optimizing-blast-extreme"  (document for manually controling the bandwidth parameter to the values which suits your environment. Manual configuration can be done either through GPO or through registry. Same document covers the registry path as well. * On the above document for scenario one [ WFH ] you could refer "Additional Optimizations for Low Bandwidth" / "Additional Optimizations for High Latency" and "Additional Optimizations for Packet Loss" * On the above document for scenario two [ LAN ] you could refer "Optimizing for Quality"

Hello, This is absolutely fine that you see all the 4 servers in the UI. These are dependant on ADLDS role installed on the system and it would have 2 inbound neighbours for replication and they maintain the data consistency the way you have shared, CS1: CS2 and CS4 CS2: CS1 and CS3 CS3: CS2 and CS4 CS4: CS3 and CS1 It does not matter whether the CS 3 and CS 4 tagged for UAG for external purpose, it still replicates with other internal servers CS1 and CS2 to ensure the complete pool configuration , machines, users and computer details are in sync. This happens from the day you have installed these servers as replica.  UAG Registration on Horizon UI is to monitor the health of the UAG and rest of the connection pairing and routing configuration will be done at UAG level.
Hello, You could extract the attached zip onto your DEM file. This config would help in roaming the team's AppData information required.
