Hi, The main issue was our oldest AppStacks captured with 2.9 Agent, these would cause logon delays, timeouts with App volumes Managers and sluggish performance. VMware informed that we should have atleast upgraded AppStacks to 2.13 Agent, so we upgraded all to 2.15 (around 80 AppStacks * 5 minutes per AppStack since you are just performing upgrade and not doing any changes). BTW, Microsoft have fixed the MSI issues in March updates so no point in not updating Windows. Works as normal with 2.15 so I don’t see why it should not work with older versions. Addresses an issue that may cause users to receive “Error 1309” while installing or uninstalling certain types of MSI and MSP files. /Kjell

Oh, according to VMware-support, going from 2.15 -> 2.16 is safe, they have'nt yet anwser my question about what I wrote here. We got into trouble with AppStacks that was made prior to 2.13 after upgrading to 2.15, so we had to update all AppStacks after support with VMware, so it do have an impact on you're setup. /Kjell
Perhaps it would be sufficient if you first upgrade to 2.15, update all AppStacks with 2.15 Agent and 2.15 Capture image then upgrade to 2.16? /Kjell

Hi, Thank you for replying! During provisioning, fileassociations are correct. Chrome is also configured to not be default browser or to open PDF. The issue is when the AppStack is Attached to the VDI. During attachment, the desktop is refreshed and something in the background causes fileassociations to be changed. Will try VMware support after we migrate away from Persona-management! Kind regards Kjell

Hi, Environment: Horizon 7.0.3 & App Volumes 2.13.3.12 VDI: Windows 8.1 If I package Google Chrome Enterprise (Version 60 to 67), some file assosiations are reset during attachment of this AppStack. This happens for these extentions: .htm, .html, .pdf, .svg, .xht and .xhtml. So If I login With Google Chrome attached to my VDI, I get this dialog to choose which application I would like to open the file with. Does anyone else experience this? Kind regards Kjell
